Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke wants to open the floodgates of immigration amnesty.

In an exchange with an Iowa voter, O’Rourke endorsed an amnesty plan that would legalize virtually all of the 11 to 22 million illegal immigrants residing in the country. Breitbart reports that the former Congressmen argued that a blanket measure would make America “demonstrably safer” for Angel Families.

Angel Families refers to people who have had family members killed by illegal aliens. This topic came about during a town hall in Iowa last week. He was specifically asked about Angel Families and how his open border policies would make Iowans safer.

O’Rourke backtracked and claimed he was not in favor of open borders and believed some kinds of protection along the border are needed. However, he dismissed Trump’s Wall as a “12th Century” solution and instead advocated for amnesty.

Over the past few years, illegal immigrants have been responsible for numerous high profile homicides. One of those was the murder of Washington state police officer Ryan Thompson, who was shot and killed by an illegal immigrant who had been living stateside since 2014.
Several figures in the immigration reform community, like Maria Espinoza of the Remembrance Project, believe that walls can help contain illegal entry. The good news is that Trump administration has now secured $1 billion in wall funding to help combat this wave of illegal immigration.
However, the amnesty angle that Democrats push is seen as a trap according to some immigration reform advocates. BLP reported how Michelle Malkin was one of the few individuals to point out that even legal immigration has several socio-economic pitfalls such as depressed wages and increased government dependency among migrant communities.

The European immigration experience, of both legal and illegal mass migration, is a raw demonstration of how mass migration in all of its variants can create negative social outcomes for countries.
But to O’Rourke and the oligarchical Democrats that’s not an issue.
BLP has shown on multiple occasions how O’Rourke faithfully pushes the leftist agenda on issues such as gun control and wealth redistribution.
O’Rourke is now filling out the mass migration check box without issue.
Voters should expect nothing more than the maintenance of the open border status quo from O’Rourke.
