Lou Dobbs is accosted by Christine Romans over the issue of Big Business "screwing American workers". During the video, Agricultural Economist James Holt is interviewed. He says (transcript):

We're talking about bringing the workers that are coming in now illegally into the United States in a legal controlled program and I would think that anybody and everybody would be in favor of that.

So, if I break into your house, and I do it again, and again and again and again (=illegal entry), eventually you'll just open your doors and merely ask me to formally sign your guest book (=legalized controlled program)??

Holt is an idiot. There are already AG visas available, but corporate farms do not want to it the legal way. Under the current system, the corporate farms would have to provide housing and pay for health care.
I might add that under the AG visa, corporate farms could sponsor an unlimited number of legal immigrants.
It's all about the money.

The "Guest-worker" program is more like a "sign the Guest-book" program.

I never could understand how people can think we should legalize people who have blatantly broken our laws. Most of them have committed a felony, for God's sake. When an American steals someone else's identity, they go to jail.
