Dem congressman says angry Obama WH is trying to shut him up over illegal alien crisis

Thin-skinned Democrats don’t like dissent – especially from their own.
One of the most outspoken Democrats criticizing the White House over the illegal immigration invasion taking place in Texas has gotten word from the White House to shut his trap.
U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar, a Texas Democrat whose district includes border territory in the Rio Grande Valley, told Brian Kilmeade on Wednesday’s “Fox & Friends” that he’d been getting heat from the Obama administration.
“A lot of times this administration gets angry when their own party speaks up and speaks out,” Kilmeade said. “Have you gotten that call?”
“Yes, I have,” Cuellar said. “But let me just say this, I’m not concerned about who gets angry at me at the White House. I’m more concerned about my constituents, who want to find a practical solution to this question that we’re facing down there at the border.”
Cuellar refused to go into detail about who called him, but he’s certainly given the White House plenty of reason to get antsy when he’s around a microphone.
Besides going on record saying the administration has been “one step behind” a crisis it should have seen coming, he committed the unforgivable Monday sin of likening the current influx of illegal immigrants from Central America to “Obama’s Katrina moment.”
Since Dems made such hay out of the perceived insensitivity of the Bush administration in its response to the 2005 hurricane that devastated the Gulf Coast, that criticism had to hurt.
It hurt enough apparently to warrant a warning call from the :White House apparatchiks who wanted Cuellar to pipe down.
Check out Cuellar’s “Fox & Friends” interview here.

The master of controlling congressional members of his party was probably LBJ. It seems to be politics nature. Problem with LBJ was he could deliver on his threats. I don't see BO being popular or efficient enough to do it.
Boehner is the opposite, he is controlled by members of his party.
I do not necessarily agree with either mode. Matter of fact, for me, it is another reason not to vote for an organized political party's candidate for obvious reasons.
