SC Republicans Want Graham to Quit White House Run

South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham wants voters to understand he would make the best commander in chief, but not even those in his home state agree with him.

According to a poll by Public Policy Polling, 78 percent of South Carolina Republicans want Graham to stop running for president. Fifteen percent want him to keep running, and 7 percent were unsure.

Graham has lost the support of his constituents since earlier this year, according to the poll. In February, 54 percent of the state's primary voters approved of the job he was doing. Today, his approval rating has fallen to 36 percent.

Graham was tied for third place in his home state in February with 13 percent of the vote. Now, he is in a four-way tie for eighth place at 3 percent.

Nationally, it's even worse for Graham. In the Real Clear Politics average of polls, Graham is at 0.0 percent.

The process of culling the herd will work given time. Here is where huge contributors have great control/ When like Perry, without money he could not continue, voters did not get in on the decision. I am not sorry Perry withdrew, but it was not voters decision, but again big money's decision. Not good. Likewise, seeing Graham go would be pleasant, but voters decision to make..

He lost the money, because voters weren't polling him high enough. The same will happen soon with several others.
