Issues must be dealt with one at a time.

This immigration reform bill must be taken apart and dealt with each issue one at a time. Starting with border security and work place enforcement. Then deal with the issues of a temporary workers program, the 12-20 million illegal aliens that are here, etc. one issue at a time. They do not want to do this because the issue of amnesty will cause the bill to fail to pass every time. Therefore, they want all the issues lumped together and complain that those who are against amnesty is against immigration reform.

I totally agree and have thought the same thing myself. There are TOO many issues to deal with at once. Once we SECURE THE BORDER, then we can move on to the next logical step - like deport any illegal that has committed any crime and continue to deport them as they commit them. Then along with all of this we definitely need to stop the auto-babies being born here.

If we had logical people in office, we might be able to get this done. But the first two things we all must do . . . enforce our current laws and secure the border. The rest would eventually fall into place.
