Agreements are always BROKEN. Agreements mean ZERO unless they are enforced and can be enforced. Words on a piece of paper are only words on a piece of paper, until they result in tangible, lasting results. Our so-called US Federal Government, assuming that even exists anymore in the form we are told it exists in and are familar with, and that is definitely in question, NEEDS TO ENFORCE AND MAINTAIN OUR OWN BORDER, NOT MEXICO!!!!!

Hope this doesn't take the winds out of the sails of that DC protest tommorrow????? I just didn't have it in me to drive 1400 miles round trip and paint up the signs. I hope at least 100 people show for this protest that live a little closer to DC and hopefully a mutiple of that will show up. I have an incredible frustration with what's going on and I hope others with the same frustrations that live closer to DC show up at this thing in force and VENT BIG TIME.

    US NEWS
US and Mexico Sign Agreement on Tariffs, Trump Declares

    BY MIMI NGUYEN LY
    June 7, 2019 Updated: June 7, 2019Share

President Donald Trump announced that a deal has been reached between the United States and Mexico late June 7, after U.S. and Mexican officials met for the third day of talks at the U.S. State Department.
“I am pleased to inform you that The United States of America has reached a signed agreement with Mexico,” Trump wrote on Twitter.
“The Tariffs scheduled to be implemented by the U.S. on Monday, against Mexico, are hereby indefinitely suspended.
“Mexico, in turn, has agreed to take strong measures to stem the tide of Migration through Mexico, and to our Southern Border.
“This is being done to greatly reduce, or eliminate, Illegal Immigration coming from Mexico and into the United States. Details of the agreement will be released shortly by the State Department. Thank you!

Trump said that details would be released soon by the State Department.
On June 6, Mexico offered to send up to 6,000 members of its national guard to secure its southern border with Guatemala, in a bid to curb the rising influx of illegal immigrants, the Washington Post first reported.

The Mexican Finance Ministry on the same day also said they blocked the bank accounts of 26 people for their alleged involvement in human trafficking. In a statement, the ministry’s Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) said it froze the accounts due to “probable links with human trafficking and illegal aid to migrant caravans.”
Trump had threatened to impose the levies starting at 5 percents on June 10 if the Mexican government does not agree to do more to tackle an increase in mostly Central American migrants crossing Mexico to enter the United States.

The two countries began their meeting on June 5 for discussions led by Vice President Mike Pence in Washington. Pence on the morning of June 6 told reporters that Mexico needs to do more to address the illegal immigration situation, though he noted that the previous talks were positive overall.
“We welcomed the efforts of the Mexican officials to offer solutions to the crisis at our southern border, but we need Mexico to do more,” he said before departing on an Air Force Two.
    Swift Change

Trump had indicated on June 4 at a press conference in London that “it’s more likely that the tariffs go on,” and that he was expecting to put tariffs on Mexican goods starting June 10 unless more migrants traveling to the U.S.-Mexico border from Central America were interdicted by Mexico.

But on June 5, Trump sounded more optimistic the tariffs could be avoided, saying Mexico was starting to take his demands seriously.
“I think they want to do something. They’re sending their top people,” he said during a visit with the Irish Prime Minister in Ireland.
Those top people were Mexico’s foreign minister and ambassador to the United States, who were set to meet with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Vice President Mike Pence at the White House.
Trump had said earlier that Democrats have forced him to take action against Mexico because they aren’t willing to fix the U.S. immigration laws that are fueling the immigration crisis.

“Border arrests for May are at 133,000 because of Mexico & the Democrats in Congress refusing to budge on immigration reform,” he tweeted.
Customs and Border Protection recently released the number of migrants illegally crossing the border in May, showing a 13-year high of 144,278.
“We need to work with Mexico on this problem,” Acting Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan told The Hill.
He said that at any given time, there are 100,000 migrants transiting through Mexico on their way to the U.S. border.
“This is a very overt movement. It uses commercial bus lines. These are organized criminal organizations that are smuggling humans,” he said. “In Chiapas, there’s about a 150-mile stretch where most of these crossings occur between Guatemala and Mexico. We need them to interdict these folks at the point of origin crossing their border.”

Protest Illegal Immigration at White House Saturday, June 8 – ALIPAC

Oath Keepers Founder Stewart Rhodes will be speaking at this rally. More needs to be done to stop and reverse illegal immigration. From ALIPAC – For National Release – June 4, 2019
Share & Discuss this release by email and on (FACEBOOK HERE) … (TWITTER HERE) .. (GAB HERE) .. (ALIPAC HERE)Former and current Trump supporters will unite to protest against illegal immigration, DACA, Amnesty legislation (HR 6), and Presidential catch and release policies outside of the White House on Saturday, June 8, 2019 for a Stand Up America and Stop Illegal Immigration Rally.
Racially inclusive peaceful groups, activists, congressional candidates, and angel families are invited to speak in the south west corner of Lafayette Square, directly across from the White House, to increase pressure on the Trump administration to stop breaking numerous campaign promises on immigration issues. (View tracking list)
President Trump’s administration has disappointed many supporters by failing to deport large numbers of illegal immigrants, crack down on employers of illegals, end DACA Amnesty, reduce legal immigration levels, end birthright citizenship, remove non-citizen voters from US elections, stop sanctuary cities, or end catch and release.
The White House has instead supported Amnesty legislation deals with Democrats, raised legal immigration levels, and Donald J Trump even signed a form of Amnesty into law in the secretive budget deal bill H.J. Res. 31 (Section 224a) that prevents the deportation of illegal minors and illegals using them as a legal shield.
“This rally is for Trump supporters who are angry, disappointed, or concerned that this President has not kept his campaign promises on immigration issues,” said Ray Herrera of We the People, America. “Donald Trump is losing a lot of support as illegal immigration has risen to levels higher than under Obama and Bush while fines for employers of illegals are lower on his watch.”
Other rally speakers have similar concerns.
“More Americans are being harmed and killed by illegal immigrants than ever before because President Trump has not cracked down on illegal immigration as he promised, and because he has focused on Amnesty deals with Democrats he never mentioned on the campaign trail,” says Angel Family member Jeanne Reid. “This means more Americans than ever before are being lost like Kate Steinle and my brother Joe Storie. There are more Angel Families being created under Trump, not less.”
Jeanne’s brother Joe Storie was killed by drunk driving illegal immigrant
Luis Alberto Rodriguez-Castro who is now free but whearabouts unknown after a NC judge Judge J.C. Cole lowered bond ignoring flight risks.
William Gheen of ALIPAC plans to present a long list of grievances that need Executive Branch action including ending the free flights for fake asylum seeking illegals, job permits for illegals, visitor visa’s for illegal immigrant family members and a 100% release rate for illegal alien families.
“Things are nowhere near where we expected things to be during Trump’s first term based on his numerous campaign promises to crack down and send illegals home,” declared William Gheen of ALIPAC. “Trump won the election by adopting our platform and campaign stances on immigration, but now that he is in office, he governs more like the kind of Amnesty supporting globalist candidates we oppose.”
ALIPAC hopes to live stream the June 8 rally on the Facebook pages of Raymond Herrera (View) and William Gheen (View) for audiences to watch and share from home.
Opponents of illegal immigration and Amnesty, with varying degrees of support for Trump, are encouraged to attend this demonstration and bring appropriate signs and US flags.
The current speaker list for the event includes, but is not limited to:
Raymond Herrera and Wes Parker of We The People, America
    William Gheen of ALIPAC
Ivan Garcia-Hidalgo of the Hispanic Leadership Council
    Stewart Rhodes of Oath Keepers
Jeanne Reid, Angel Family member whose brother was killed by an illegal alien
Hessie Harris & Shakil Hamid of Help Save Maryland
Johsie Cruz Candidate for Congress (R-GA/4) & Latinos for Trump Georgia
Carlos Alfredo Torres Latinos for Trump Georgia
Organizers are reaching out to other group leaders, activists, and social media influencers to speak on June 8 including Ann Coulter, Rep. Steve King, Alex Jones, Paul Joseph Watson, Joseph Farah, Kevin Jackson, Michelle Malkin, Kris Kobach, Daniel Horowitz, Dr. Kelli Ward, Jenny Beth Martin, Laura Ingraham, Tucker Carlson, and numerous talk radio show hosts.

Donald Trump Announces Migration Deal with Mexico

President Donald Trump has announced a comprehensive immigration reform deal with the Mexican government, but the details have not been released.

Trump also announced the promised tariffs would not be imposed.

Delays between the announcement of a deal and the release of details are commonplace, in part because top officials have to agree on the wording of each document that describes the deal.
The “safe third country” deal that was sought by the administration would block migration by extending routine international migration rules to the region.
The sought-after deal would require migrants in the region to seek safety and asylum in the first safe country they reach and allow the United States border agencies to reject migrants who cross through Mexico to reach the U.S. border. It would minimize the ability of Congress, pro-migration legal groups, and cheap labor lobbies to import more migrants for companies and donors, because the deal builds on existing laws which allow border agents to return migrants to countries who have signed a diplomatic deal.
Throughout the negotiations, Mexican officials sought to minimize the scale of any “third safe country” deal and instead offered to allocate more resources to guarding their southern border with Guatemala.
But that promise of extra security is of little value, because any Mexican government can quietly order its forces to turn a blind eye to the cartels’ labor-trafficking operations.
The Mexican foreign minister, Marcelo Ebrard, also announced an unexplained deal, but couched it as a cancellation of Trump’s promised tariffs:
Overall, the deal is supposed to shrink or even stop the accelerating migration of Central America into the United States.
Under current rates, roughly one million Central Americans will walk through the border loopholes created and preserved by courts and Congress, and into Americans’ workplaces, neighborhoods, and schools during the 12 months prior to October.
A good deal for Trump will also be a bad deal for Democrats, who have campaigned during the last few days to prevent a deal that would slow the inflow of migrants.
Democrats oppose a deal, in part, because it reduces their bargaining power in the domestic fight against Trump to win amnesty for millions of illegals.

What does a"comprehensive immigration reform deal" even mean in the context of securing our border?

What kind of good deal are we giving Mexico to acquiesce to our demands? I thought this was a one-way deal .... you do this, that and the other to avoid tariffs on goods shipped from Mexico. What am I missing?

In my view, a "comprehensive immigration reform deal" means both sides are getting something. Am I wrong?

CNN ANCHOR: US GOT ‘ALMOST EVERYTHING IT WANTED’ WITH MEXICO TRADE DEAL

    3:44 PM 06/08/2019 | MEDIAScott Morefield | Reporter

CNN anchor Victor Blackwell admitted Saturday morning on “New Day” that the United States got “almost everything it wanted” in the U.S.-Mexico trade deal that was announced Friday.
The “New Day” coverage began with CNN White House correspondent Sarah Westwood describing the White House’s intention to “frame this as a victory for President Trump,” who reversed his original plans to impose a tariff on Mexican imports in response to the country’s concessions, particularly “stepped-up immigration enforcement efforts.”
    WATCH:

Westwood reported Trump’s Friday night announcement before showing video of the Mexican ambassador calling what the country agreed to “unprecedented.” (RELATED: CNN Lays Off Almost Entire Division, Surprises Employees As ‘Crazy Rumor’ Comes True)
“I am pleased to inform you that the United States of America has reached a signed agreement with Mexico,” Trump announced via Twitter Friday night. “The Tariffs scheduled to be implemented by the U.S. on Monday, against Mexico, are hereby indefinitely suspended. Mexico, in turn, has agreed to take strong measures to stem the tide of Migration through Mexico, and to our Southern Border. This is being done to greatly reduce, or eliminate, Illegal Immigration coming from Mexico and into the United States. Details of the agreement will be released shortly by the State Department. Thank you!”
The president delved into more of the deal’s specifics on Saturday, including Mexico’s promise to deploy their own troops at the border.
“Now, there is the additional border enforcement and help in breaking up trafficking networks. The U.S. got almost everything it wanted from Mexico,” Blackwell noted from the anchor desk after Westwood signed off.
The anchor’s admission comes as Rep. Maxine Waters and others framed the news as Trump caving from “just another bluff.”

WE DIDN'T GET ANYTHING until we see what the Mexicans actually do to live up to this agreement. What most are forgetting is that the super majority of invaders aren't being interviewed for asylum and are allowed to go just about anywhere in the nation they please because there's not enough detention space to hold them.. So how does this REMAIN IN MEXICO program affect them? I don't feel anything really changed here on this? When detention space is filled up, which it always is, Trump will just continue to let them go. How can they be returned to Mexico if they aren't claiming asylum?????
