My sources tell me that it is all right to have a protest/rally on a sidewalk area without a permit, so long as there is no microphones, sound system, and sidewalks and streets are not blocked.

We will be a peaceful group and want to distribute information about what illegal immigration is doing to our state and our country.

(P.S. We would have had ours on May 6th also, but there is a big "medicinal marijuana" rally on that day, and did not want it to overshadow our rally.)
