DO NOT LET YOUR SENATOR OR REP GET ANY REST ON THEIR WEEK LONG VACATION!!!

VISIT LOCAL SENATOR'S OR REP'S OFFICES. IF YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE, CALL AND MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE THE IMMIGRATION AIDE...IF YOU DON'T, STOP BY AND VOICE YOUR OPINION IN PERSON!

***I have it from a good source that "stopping in unexpectedly" to their offices will bring POSITIVE RESULTS!

Take a few friends or family members.

Some talking point suggestions:

This is my state, my home and I am outraged by this AMNESTY scheme Congress is attempting to pass!

Here is America's Compromise "Enforce Existing Law Act of 2007".
(Secure the border. Sanction employers and seize their assests if they employ illegals. Stop paying taxpayer entitlements to illegals outside of emergency medical care. Stop routine healthcare, no schooling, no subsidized housing, no welfare/food stamps, etc...

HAVEN'T YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW???
Ask them what their Senator/Rep is getting for the SALE of America--This TREASONOUS AMNESTY???
What companies in his/her or his families portfolios are paying him off???

Just a thought to consider on Memorial Day:

Legal immigrants never came to receive ENTITLEMENTS until recent history!

Legal immigrants came to CONTRIBUTE, not TAKE from us and SUCK US DRY!!!

IF YOU DON'T LIVE NEAR AN OFFICE OR CANNOT MAKE IT BY NEXT WEEK, CALL!!!

THIS IS A WEEK LONG EFFORT WHILE THE SENATORS/REPS ARE ON RECESS ALL WEEK

Great post OLIVER, we have to slam them on their home turff and drive the point home,DON"T give them any peace everyone, we also need to load their phones and make their fax machines hum non stop!!

I'm going to write a piece for the local paper in a minute and see if we can get some locals calling these offices next week and everyone else should try to get a piece in their local paper!!

We need everyone following the game plan for our Operation Bring It Home.

Get those meetings scheduled! Get in the door!

BTW: the best and most EFFECTIVE way to communicate with the Congress and their staffers is by asking questions rather than telling them what you think.
This gets their 'attention' immediately.

Whether you're face to face in the office or using the phone:
By making them write down your questions and expecting answers -- even if you need to call them back for the answers, it turns them on their ears, puts them on the spot and forces them to relay your message to the senator or his/her top aid.

Example: The AMNESTY TEXT is NOT out for the American people! This is outrageous!!

1. Why is the TEXT of this AMNESTY bill NOT out for the American people to read?

2. Is it the Senators plan to keep this AMNESTY TEXT from the American people?

3. When can I expect to see the ENTIRE TEXT that has been completed at this time?

4. WHAT are the Senators trying to HIDE from the American people?

staffer: "I can't answer for the Senator."
American: "Please get me the Senator's answers to my questions and I will call you back tomorrow/Tueday/whenever you decide.
Please READ back the questions I've asked so that I'm certain you have them written correctly."
staffer: "Oh. Read them back? I didn't....Ah....could you please repeat them?"
American: "sure. Have your PEN & PAPER ready?"
read them again. have them quote you back.

Come on everyone lets get our voices heard, time to get involved, calls, faxes e-mails and post at this link and let everyone know what you are hearing. Lets let congress know what real Americans Want!!

How about small teams in the same state? KATE said that it worked out extremely well by going with a little team!

Call your local Senatorial office this week or check their web sites to see if they will be holding any town hall meetings next week. Also see if you can schedule a meeting with the Senator or staff, or just plan to drop by their office if they won't commit to a specific meeting date.

It is very easy to talk with these people - do not be intimidated. Remember, you are expressing YOUR OPINION as a citizen, not giving a seminar. You have already been calling their offices to express your outrage, so speaking with them in person will be just as easy, and will be even more powerful!

Do not let them off the hook. Given the outrage over the Senate's "grand compromise", these people are probably planning on high-tailing it out of town or making any excuse to not be personally confronted by the public, but don't let them get away with this!

Lets give 'em hell!
