The point is that the global warming lawsuit is a lark from the nutty Ninth. Citizens CANNOT successfully sue over stuff like global warming, except in that one loopy socialist judicial circuit. The Ninth Circuit has the most overturned rulings of any circuit in the country, and I can assure you that the global waming lawsuit will not stand.

After reading this thread I'm still not sure why this isn't a valid solution.

A writ of mandamus allows officials to be sued for failing to exercise a duty that arises under the law. Mandamus was the center of the case that started Judicial Review in Marbury v. Madison.


I guess any case depends on a court that respects the rule of law.

Before I joined this site I was hoping someone would file a class action lawsuit on behalf of the victims of illegal immigrant criminals.

The objective would simply to come up with a MONETARY amount calculated for the cost of illegal immigration.
