So which party should I vote for?

Which party will seal the border and stop all immigration until every American who wants a job has a job? Which party is for American citizens first and immigrants second? It ain't the Libertarian party, they want to get rid of minimum wage, welfare, and make it easier for aliens to work here. It ain't the Republican party who wants cheap labor. And it ain't the Democrat party who wants to steal the election by giving out handouts to the immigrants buying their vote.

So which party is it?

The Republican Party members don't want cheap labor, but unfortunately, the people running for elected positions say one thing while running and after elected do another. I'm a Republican from a family of Republicans who have been Republicans since there were Republicans. What we see today from Republicans in Congress can only be described as foreign, unfamiliar, outrageous and completely opposed to the long-standing principles of the Republican Party.

You CAN vote for any PARTY.
Why you would want to is a hard question.
As an independent voter I ruled out PARTY long ago.
I look at each candidate on THEIR merit,
not on their party affiliation,
or their religion, etc.
Each election it seems to get harder to find any candidate worth voting for.
Tom Tancredo. There was a man to vote for.
Everyone knew where he stood on immigration.
And he wasn't going to lie about it to get your vote.

You make a good point slyhunter. There isn't even a lesser of two evils choice.

All politics are local, the only thing that any of us can do is be sure who we vote for in our local elections...When it come's to the national elections change will come from the bottom up by our local votes will work the way up.... Voting "party lines" will do no good vote for the person not the party...

Trump has changed the equation. The new Republican Party will arise from it's ashes with Trump at it's head. Kick out the Paul Ryans of the party but Elect Trump for President.

I think the proper answer is "No party". There is no political party that wants to do the job that every good US citizen wants to see done. The "Tea Party" is not even a real party. It is a media clearing house of people who have dropped out of the Republican Party.

You don't say where you are from, but here in California, you can register to vote as "Decline to State" which means you will not register with any political party. As far as the Republicans and Democrats of California are concerned, this means you have no political party, although if you decline to state, all that really means is that you don't want to go on the record stating party affiliation. You might still belong to a political party that is not "official" by state standards.

Trump wants to do the things that you want to see done and he started out this campaign thinking of a run as an independent. He was talked into running as a Republican and look how the Republicans are treating him.

The problem is that the Republicans and the Democrats are not really two independent parties, but are in fact a part of the so-called Two Party System. The Two Party System is a party dictatorship masquerading as two different parties.

Both the Democrats and the Republicans hate Trump because they know that the Trump campaign is a death knell of the Two Party System, but really he has nothing to do with that. He is a symptom rather than a cause. The Information Age is catching up with the Two Party machine.
