Some Amnesty groups are changing their game plan.

Today Telemundo News reported that some immigrant rights groups are breaking away from the coalition and demanding less amnesty. Those groups will now be lobbying for amnesty for illegal agricultural workers and students. This change in tactic is a dramatic change in comparison to their original demand of amensty for all 12 million illegals.

The way I analyze the previous report is that the opposition is loosing big time. Some of those groups have come to the conclusion that the senate will not vote for their amnesty demands. Therefore, they are now trying to cash in their chips and get whatever amnesty they can. But just like in Football, the team that changes their game plan in the 4th quarter is always the team that is loosing. And as always, changing your game plan in the end does not give a team a win.

Keep up those calls! we are splitting the oppostion apart!

Well, how nice that they are willing to lessen their demands.

NO AMNESTY!
SECURE OUR BORDERS!
ENFORCE EXISTING LAWS!

VOTE NO ON ALL CLOTURES!

gave a prepared speech for callers : dont separate families and
protection for workers

well- as someone pointed out - when the illegals came norte they broke up their own families - all they have to do is go home together
then the protect workers-
this one really hooks democrats who depend upon fairness .
well- gosh - stealing an American job on American soil from an American citizen and then stealing a social security number too and then stealing
affordable housing and then stealing tax subsidies to school and feed your offspring
sorry it just doesnt yank my heart strings

Still, amnesty for people who will eventually be on welfare, and for students that get a Dream Act?

Don't get complacent and i wouldn't believe anything an OBL Media source is stateing right now. Maintain pressure on ALL SENATORS NOT JUST THE ONES WE THINK WE HAVE IN THE BAG! We should always act as if we are loseing, always assume the worst when it comes to Washington Politics! I know W would agree with me.

Politics makes strange bedfellows. embrace these folks. I have read (and heard) the some (not all ) unions are backing off on not only the z visa but amnesty because of member pressure.

As an old Union president I would support this. The only good reason for Unions to organize illegals is to fight slave labor employers. They will kill both illegal and rank and file with this bill.
