U.S. To Decide Whether To Sign Refugee Resettlement Deal With Australia
U.S. To Decide Whether To Sign Refugee Resettlement Deal With Australia
June 16, 2017
OAN Newsroom
The Trump administration is nearing a decision on whether to accept more than 1,000 refugees detained on an island in the South-Pacific.
Former President Obama signed the deal to accept the refugees just before leaving office, which is a move criticized by President Trump.
The refugees are located on Manus Island in a facility maintained by the Australian government.
Australia’s controversial refugee policy requires all asylum-seekers who arrive by boat be sent to offshore detention centers.
Homeland Security officials have reportedly conducted extreme vetting interviews with detainees.
The Trump administration is expected to announce its decision later this summer.

This would be ridiculous for the United States to take individuals who have nothing in common with America as far as culture, etc., who could pose a real danger, who recently were reported to have mental and/or other issues which could lead to harm. We would be forced again to provide services for foreign citizens who would not be able to provide for themselves.
This lunacy must stop. President Trump can be strong when he wants. Just say, "No" to Australia. Tell Congress to step up and volunteer for refugees in their neighborhoods so they can show us how great it is to do this.Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Trump should get the report, read it himself and ask "do I want these people in our country" and the answer will be obvious. Most of them are from Iran from what I read in some article. Iran is one of the countries on Trump's travel ban. I would use that to politely and cordially decline Australia's request. The President of Australia wants to mock our President at an event, when there are such serious issues the United States is facing and our dear President is trying to resolve including stopping this immigration insanity, well, then Turnbull can figure out what to do with his refugees and dump them elsewhere. Call Germany, they like refugees.
JUST SAY NO THANK YOU.
This ole bull about honoring some prior goof-ball President's personal edicts or promises is just that, a bunch of bull. Trump doesn't have to honor any of this stupid, disgusting, repugnant crap. Nor should he.Last edited by Judy; 06-17-2017 at 01:53 PM.
