Immigration response from Rep. Deborah K. Ross (D-NC)

    April 5, 2021

    Dear XXXX,

Thank you for your message concerning immigration. I appreciate hearing from you and welcome the opportunity to respond.

I recognize your concerns about President Biden’s immigration proposals, and I agree that we need smarter border security. However, I strongly believe that, as a nation of immigrants, we draw strength from people who journeyed to our shores from around the world. That is why I support the creation of a pathway to citizenship for hardworking undocumented immigrants who have spent their lives contributing to their communities and to our country.

I believe we must welcome those seeking better opportunities for themselves and their families with fairness, respect, and compassion. Foreign workers are essential to countless industries in the United States as well as to a range of businesses here in the Research Triangle. Our Wake County community would not be as prosperous as it is today without the contributions of immigrants.

Unfortunately, our dysfunctional immigration laws and policies continue to tear families apart and hold American companies back. For the sake of our economy and our national security, we must come together on a bipartisan basis to comprehensively reform our broken immigration system.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with me. Please do not hesitate to reach out should you have any more questions or concerns. I also encourage you to regularly visit my website at http://ross.house.gov, where you can find information on my work on behalf of our community and sign up for my e-newsletter.
    Very truly yours,

    Deborah K. Ross
    Member of Congress

Illegal aliens have made it nearly impossible for NC folks in the trades to compete, and have depressed wages for American citizens, particularly in the house framing business, for years. Homebuilders love to hire them, as they charge less due to using 1099's instead of W2's, so no taxes are taken out. They all work with fraudulent social security numbers, and many are running their own profitable companies now. Ms. Ross , like Thom Tillis, is beholden to her corporate donors rather than her NC constituents. She also knows their U.S. born children are nearly certain to vote keep her party in power . Disgusted with these sellout NC politicians in both parties.

Rep. Deborah Ross is clearly out of sync with the feelings and wishes of North Carolina voters on immigration issues....

That is why I support the creation of a pathway to citizenship for hardworking undocumented immigrants who have spent their lives contributing to their communities and to our country.
This means she supports AMNESTY for illegal aliens and as such should be thrown out of office as soon as humanly possible.

Previous immigrant groups either worked to survive or died trying. It seems the first thing these folks do is jump on the welfare dollar and are a burden, not an asset to American taxpayers. Did anyone check the voting machines when this woman was elected?

She has always been this way. I once heard her call Mexicans "Americans" in a meeting at the General Assembly in Raleigh. She has been trying to get into Congress for years and now the courts forced redistricting that gave her a prime opportunity and she won. They gave her Raleigh and south Wake county and the conservatives in South Wake couldn't overcome the liberals in Raleigh. She has always been a witch. You will not get her to budge on this. I can't stand her.

GOP must retake the US House and/or the Senate in 2022 so we can stop all of the garbage going on in Washington right now.

ALIPAC Endorses Christine Villaverde Vs. Amnesty Rep. Deborah Ross (NC-2)

    For National Release | May 5, 2022

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC.us) endorses GOP Primary Challenger Christine Vallaverde for Congress in her bid to unseat North Carolina Rep. Deborah Ross (D-NC-2) because Vallavarde has the strongest stances against illegal immigration and Amnesty, while incumbent Democrat Rep. Deborah Ross supports Amnesty, citizenship, and voting rights for illegals.
