    Watch: The Presidential Candidates Get 'The Simpsons' Treatment

    <font color="#999999">

    The Simpsons has been known to dip its toes in the political waters from time to time, usually skewing toward the liberal bent of its creator Matt Groening. This time around, The Simpsons is an equal-opportunity offender, poking fun at the candidates on both sides of the political aisle.

    In the clip, The Simpsons' long-suffering matriarch Marge laments the contentious state of American politics.

    "I can't take it anymore," Marge complains. "Basic manners are gone from politics. What is it with these ding-dongs?"

    "Just visualize another America," Homer suggests. "One where Republicans, Democrats, and Donald Trump all get along." In Marge's resulting fantasy, both the GOP and Democratic fields break into a hilarious song-and-dance routine to James Taylor's "How Sweet It Is".
