Sure we can deport 12 (really 30 million plus) of illegals..

We can use the same system the IRS uses. They are totally incompetent organization, but when they want to find someone, they do. 12 - 30 million ought to be a piece of cake.

I say trick them, tell them to register for a TAX ID #, so we can see how many illegals are here so we can consider amnesty. Once you have them registered...nab them and deport them, unless they want to pay back taxes and a hefty fine.

Triple the fines and penalties with some jail time on the first offense for employers.

If you can deport 2 million like all of them say they will that are criminals, you can do that 10 times -you only have to paddle one kid in a class of 50 to get the rest to behave that day.If we had only 2 million illegals in this country, they would say it was impossible to deport them. Why do we still arrest pot people if 10s of millions are doing some sort of drugs. This is not just amnesty for illegals,it is for the skunk employers.Watch how quick businesses and some politicians would turn against amnesty if it required the illegals to turn in thier employer as proof they have worked in country a long time (only way they could prove it)and the employer pay fines for illegals-this would stop future employment of illegals. These people who are in the chamber of commerce would rather deport illegals that cost them any money.

You know those stings the police use to capture those with outstanding warrants like free tv's, vacations, etc.?

Maybe this type of approach could be used to not only capture illegal aliens BUT maybe there could be a program to "reward" the employers and/or landlords, etc. who cater to them by aiding and abetting?

And did you hear him say the first thing he would do is pass the DREAM ACT??? What a way to pander...and who is going to pay for it and at whose expense??

It is sure not the illegals who would pay for it since they don't pay taxes and pop out babies left and right.

Another big freebie on me and you, while our children can't afford to go to college.

We could turn "Comprehensive Immigration Reform" into "Apprehension Immigration Reform"

Great way to get them to line up and enter offices and we can have the air conditioned buses provisioned with snacks and baby supplies, along with soft music, idling behind the buildings!

Interesting idea, Immigration and Customs Enforcement could process a lot of illegal aliens quickly that way.

We could also avoid arresting anyone that was legal since the program would just be for illegal aliens.

Some might bring legal friends or family members so ICE will need a computer uplink.

    "Apprehension Immigration Reform"
That would solve the problem really fast, however we're seeing that simply enforcing the law WORKS!

Just like we told them it would.

    Good Idea William.

Unfortunately the end result is going to be total Immigration Apprehension.

Middle class people are sick of being left out in the cold, and then being required to pay for these people to have a better life than most Americans, for free.

This anger will breed true racism and bias against immigrants in general.

I am sorry, but it is very hard to be generous, with open arms, when we are being shoved aside, losing jobs, and still being asked to pay for it all.

Some years ago they got some of the most wanted people in DC by sending letters they had won tickets, bus ride etc-About 30 showed up ,some even dressed as indians, redskins jersys everything-imagine thier surprise when they arrived at the police station instead of RFK stadium.

I agree. We are one step closer to the return of violence, riots and racial tensions of the 60's. This next round will make the civil rights movement look like a kids birthday party in comparison. Americans are angry and the fact that we are being ignored by those who claim to represent us is not going to fair well if amnesty of any form is signed into law.

If Obama is electd, those who are supporting him because of his "rock star" qualities will soon realize that his concerts will not live up to their expectations.
