When Americans are asked if they approve of tax cuts for all, they tend to answer Yes. But when they're asked if they approve of tax cuts for the rich, they tend to answer No. Repubs had better be careful. They gained power because voters didn't see them as being in charge. If they push too hard for tax cuts which will benefit primarily the richest Americans - income tax cuts and cuts on unearned income tend to do that - it'll be their turn in the barrel in 2012 - and maybe even a second term for 'Bama.

Ever see a poor person create jobs ?

Heck yes give the rich tax cuts , In fact the way I heard it was that nobody got a tax cut , The tax code just stayed the same as it was.

So I don't get the dems when they cry about the rich getting a tax cut?

"cuts on unearned income tend to do that"

Would you care to explain just exactly what "unearned income" is?

Guess something we can disagree on. Yes the poor and the middle class are who creates ALL the jobs. Jobs are not created by the rich but by consumers. Every job needs to have a consumer behind it and without a consumer no job. The rich may hire a new employee but thats to take advantage of more consumers consuming. If they have a tax cut or no tax cut they will hire that new person because that person means filling that consumer demand meaning more profit.

A rich person will never hire a new employee just because they got a tax cut. They will expand and contract as far as demand for their product goes.

However I will say its the poor and middle class workers.... not the deadbeat welfare poor.

This is why its better to give tax cuts to the lower and middle class and the rich. They consume far more then the rich. The lower class spends every cent they earn, the middle class spends 90-95% of what they earn. While the rich spend around 40-45% of what they earn.

Just think about it a bit

In this age of Forced Globalism the Rich can take their tax savings and invest in other countries. Trickle Down Economics is absolutely flawed now.

Money which is not received for working. The most common example is interest on bonds.

Thats the problem. The only ones who can really run for larger office are those with money. Then they run off major corporation campaign funds. So besides taking their money and jobs offshore they are the only running contestants for offices.

To run for the Senate it costs upwards of $5k to even get on the ballot. In SC its over 10k. Now how many regular Americans have that kind of money laying around to throw away just to get on a ballot forgetting about about the large amounts of money that will be needed to actually campaign. Then you only have a chance of getting in and then again only a chance at doing something that matters because you have 99 others who look at you as an outcast because your not with the IN crowd.

We know the rich will only work for the riches benefit. Hence why we need to change it so its not the rich holding all the cards.

Ordinary Americans had a voice, before the Democrat Party lost its way. Now our voice comes from forums, blogs, independent organizations such as the Tea Party, and the Internet. We do have to work harder, but we can influence public policy by using the tools which are available to us.
