Ted Nugent Laments GOP’s ‘Rusty Shiv’ Castration

Many conservatives have been thinking it, but leave it to rocker-turned-pundit Ted Nugent to say it: The Republican Party needs to grow a pair.

In what was likely a reference to the GOP’s post-State of the Union hints that the Party plans to move forward with a more hopeful message and a kinder, gentler approach to legislation, Nugent said during a Monday radio appearance that the GOP’s scrotum has been extracted “with a rusty shiv.”
Nugent told Denver-based radio host Peter Boyles: “Someone extracted their scrotum with a rusty shiv. They have no balls. I don’t know where this, ‘Let’s be Mr. Rogers with a Lawrence Welk soundtrack’ tie adjusting mantra came from, but my God! If there’s a life-support system attached to the GOP, it’s flat-lining.”
Nugent currently resides in Texas, where he said he is “spoiled” to have the “greatest” Governor, Rick Perry, and conservative lawmakers like Senator Ted Cruz and Representative Louie Gohmert.
“We are wall-to-wall statesmen and patriots and Constitutionalists here in the State of the Texas,” he said.
Unfortunately, Nugent continued, the GOP as a whole is a different story.
“I just don’t know when they lost their soul,” he said. “They’ve got no balls.”
Late last month, Nugent lamented in an interview with Guns.com that he wished he could do more to bring Americans to the conservative cause, saying, “I have obviously failed to galvanize and prod, if not shame, enough Americans to be ever vigilant not to let a Chicago communist-raised, communist-educated, communist-nurtured subhuman mongrel like the ACORN community organizer gangster Barack Hussein Obama to weasel his way into the top office of authority in the United States of America.”
Nugent continued, “I think America will be America again when Barack Obama, Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton, Dick Durbin, Michael Bloomberg and all of the liberal Democrats are in jail facing the just due punishment that their treasonous acts are clearly apparent.”
The aging rocker said that people who consider his speech inflammatory should reflect on the officials it is directed toward.
“I would call it inflammatory speech when it’s your job to protect Americans and you look into the television camera and say what difference does it make that I failed in my job to provide security and we have four dead Americans,” he said, referring to the attack on the 2012 U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya.
“What difference does that make?” he continued. “Not to a chimpanzee or Hillary Clinton, I guess it doesn’t matter.”
