Does it realy matter if he is illegal or natural this man raped a 16 year old girl and murderd her in a horrilble way.The state of Taxes did the right thing this man didnt deserve another breath of air.Screw mexico and any other country that dont like it,at least this man had a trial convicted and pay his debt at least he was done peacefully and not beheaded left in the street.Which would have served him better.

Thanks for sticking to your guns Texas!
( mod edit) - let's be umm... "sensitive" about it and warn Mexico to get ready to catch it first. Along with a message that says, "We are returning one of your best and brightest to you!"
After all, he is dead and will feel no pain. That's a hell of a lot more humane than he was to his victim...As Aristotle said, “Tolerance and apathy are the first virtue of a dying civilization.â€

Even an conservative estimate of prison cost on this guy is about a half million dollars. Then add the attorney fees. Gee, how many young, hungry children could have eaten instead of going to bed hungry in exchange for this garbage pit we supported. And, after all these years of feeding him in the devotion to justice, he screams devotion to Mexico in the end and his family blames and hates the US. We are probably the only ones that HAVE fed their family for the last 20 years and this is the end of the story.
And, how many more of these useless pieces-of-crap are out there on our land?
Whenever I see "Made In Mexico" I ALWAYS put it back on the shelf.

There are also 40 other Mexican Nationals on death row who were "denied their consular rights", or so they claim.
When I first learned about this story, I thought that American law-enforcement authorities simply blundered, and forgot to read Leal his consular rights, similar to reading other criminals their Miranda rights. But if there are 40 others, then it's unlikely that officials forgot to inform these 40 foreign Nationals all 40 times. Therefore, this represents a huge loophole in our immigration laws. All of the news sources I've seen that reported on this story fails to mention the reason why officials felt they couldn't inform the murderer of his consular rights: because our Federal Government feels obligated to honor the sanctuary policies of various cities throughout our country.
If Attorney General Eric Holder wasn't so political, and "left-leaning", he could have taken action against sanctuary cities some time ago. An ideal moment would have been right after Arizona passed SB-1070 last year. Instead, he decided to sue Arizona.
If Leal was arrested in a sanctuary city, officials would intentionally avoid asking Leal his immigration status. These officials would have to assume that Leal's an American citizen. How, then, do foreign consulates expect us to contact them? Our Federal Government feels obligated to pretend that the foreign murderer is an American.
Perhaps the Mexican consulate would claim that it's obvious that Leal is a foreign National who should have been informed of his consular rights in the very beginning. Leal has Hispanic features, and speaks accented, perhaps poor, English. But our Federal Government has been telling us for the past few decades that profiling is unfair, and politically incorrect. It's because of this political incorrectness that we now must submit to being molested at our airports by TSA officials.
If Senator Patrick Leahy really wants to accomplish something in the field of assisting foreign murderers, he'll introduce legislation that will allow Federal authorities to ask an arrestee his immigration status, and Nationality. Hey, wait a minute. I think our Federal immigration laws are already shaped like that.

Cops aren't even allowed to ask a suspected invader if they are in this country illegally unless they are prepared to be accused of "racial profiling!" If they were, there would be no need for laws like SB1070 in Arizona! Of course, the invader will never volunteer the information, so as to be able to use the consular card later on! These people are taught what to say by those that aid and abet them.
So how are you supposed to offer consular services to someone if you cannot even ask the question? If they ask, they will be accused of racial profiling, and the suspect may walk later on. If they do not ask, they will be accused of denying the accused his so called consular rights!
You're damned either way and that's exactly the kind of legal quagmire the open borders terrorists amongst us love to create!Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Consular Rights, Foreign Nationals and the Death Penalty
Under Article 36 of the 1963 Vienna Convention on Consular Relations(VCCR), local authorities must inform all detained foreigners "without delay" of their right to have their consulate notified of their detention and to communicate with their consular representatives.

Texas houses 15 of the more than 50 Mexican national death row inmates listed in an International Court of Justice opinion that determined the United States violated their rights when local law enforcement didn't inform them of the right to call the Mexican consulate.

Besides the 50 Mexicans there are foreigners form other countries on death row, but it seems that only Mexico is raising a stink about their criminals being executed in the U.S.NO AMNESTY
Don't reward the criminal actions of millions of illegal aliens by giving them citizenship.
