Thousands protest Trump in Mexico City

Thousands of people marched against President Trump in Mexico City over the weekend, the Associated Press reported.

The march, which was themed around the idea of unity, included about 20,000 protesters. One banner read "Gracias, Trump, for unifying Mexico!"

Demonstrators were speaking out against Trump’s proposed wall on the U.S.-Mexico border, as well as the recent executive order on immigration enforcement.

Trump signed an executive order last month calling for construction to begin on the border wall, a signature campaign promise that he has vowed Mexico will pay for—even as the Republican-controlled Congress makes plans to initially fund the wall with U.S. tax money. Mexico’s president had said on multiple occasions that his country will not foot the bill for the wall.Trump recently said it is likely that Mexico will reimburse the United States for the wall in order to speed up construction.

The president also signed an executive order ending the “catch and release” policy, which allowed those who crossed the border to return to Mexico without being detained.
Other Mexican cities also hosted anti-Trump marches Sunday.

Yes, please unify Mexico. Send all their illegal aliens back to Mexico so they can join their "movement", reunify their families and fix their country. Raise your wages, enforce your laws, shut down your criminals, or don't. We don't care what you do in your country, so long as whatever you do, you don't bring it into our country in violation of US immigration law, breach our borders and harm our people.

Also, Americans don't want a "free trade" agreement with a bunch of rude, stupid, whining protesting people who suck our jobs out of our country and invade our country to steal more jobs and benefits.

On two of the important issues of good relations between nations, the Mexican people have failed them both.

Mexico's largest income is from remittances that it's citizens that are living and working illegally in the US send "home". Of course they don't want that gravy train to end.
