After Obama, America’s Children are Way Worse Off

This news about our children’s scores in reading, math, and science shows that Barack Obama was more interested in vacationing and hanging out with rap stars than really caring about our children’s education.

I understand it’s not for a president to educate our kids, and I am not asking for that. But an 11-point drop in math scores shows our system is not working.

American school kids became more stupid under the Obama administration, according to rankings released by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.

They recently released the results of a worldwide exam administered every three years to 15-year-olds in 72 countries. The exam monitors reading, math and science knowledge.

Based on their findings, the United States saw an 11-point drop in math scores and nearly flat levels for reading and science.

The Land of the Free, Home of the Brave, fell below the OECD average – and failed to crack the top ten in all three categories.

In other words, thanks to the Obama administration’s education policies, kids in the Slovac Republic are more proficient in multiplication.

It’s no coincidence that both teacher’s unions and the education establishment went all out to defeat Betsy DeVos’ nomination as Secretary of Education. Her support for vouchers and school choice, which a majority of black households also favor, threatens their stranglehold on public “education.”

Until that swamp is drained, schools will continue to measure their success by improving graduation rates, despite the fact that their graduates are illiterate.

Of course our children suffered under Democrat control… it was by design. Those opposing are the teacher’s unions and those that got money from the teacher’s unions. Now our kids won’t have to sing stupid songs honoring BHO. How Marxist can you get?

Our education system is no different than all of our other "systems". They're all failing, everything is falling apart. The reason we're still a viable country is because of Donald Trump who gave the portion of our population who sees what's happening and knows that we must reverse course and change the way we operate our country. But for Trump and Trump Supporters our nation would be rolling over the cliff, instead our Trump Train is ROLLIN' ROLLIN' ROLLIN' to fix our country and make it great again.

Education, health care, industry, business, jobs, taxes, borders, environment, energy, safety, security, independence ... everything we value and cherish has been broken or diminished. And that's before we even get to our citizens, tens of millions who have lost their homes, their jobs, their insurance, their cars, their savings, their retirements, everything they worked for, even what generations of their families worked for, gone.

Gone, but not over. The US is not over. We're here, we've got a leader, we've got a plan, we've got knowledge, brains, ingenuity, ethics, energy and hope. May not sound like a lot, but at the end of the day it's everything we need to get our stuff back, to make things right, and fix our country.

Yes, little kiddies, we're going to fix your schools for you so you all can work hard, make US proud, put the USA back in the top 10 of the OECD, and you can get a job and support yourselves when you graduate.

Our schools are overcrowded with refugees, asylum, and illegal aliens. Our kids are being slowed down do to this.

Then you have the foreign Student Visa's taking up seats in our schools. These foreign students do not leave and then are given preference for jobs...that needs to stop. Go make your own country prosper.

Get them all out for the next 20 years. Smaller classrooms and better for the teachers.
