    Too Much "Pressure" on America's Borders?

    Too Much "Pressure" on America's Borders?

    After listening to the State of the Union speech by President Bush on January 24, I have been blessed with an extraordinary idea; one with the potential to change the way banking is conducted everywhere. Forever.

    I refer to the president's statement concerning the illegal alien crisis and America's open borders. The president said, in part, "We cannot fully secure the border unless we take pressure off the border."

    Mind you, there are skeptics who would question the president's assertion that there is too much "pressure" at the border, given the fact that there are about 30 million illegal aliens squatting in America right now.

    Still, I suppose that from Bush's perspective, America could be blessed with another 100 million illegal aliens or so, were it not for all that "pressure" at the borders.

    Remember, George W. Bush is a graduate of the Yale MBA program, so he must know what he is talking about. Right?

    That being the case, I believe we should give the Bush scheme a chance in reforming America's banking institutions.

    Bankers can show their patriotism by making the following changes:

    * Leave all bank vaults wide open, 24/7;

    * Remove all remote video recording and security alarm equipment;

    * Fire all security guards paid to safeguard bank money; and

    * Discontinue the discriminatory practice of performing background checks on individuals beings considered for employment.

    Come on, financial professionals, follow the lead set by our president, and abandon your "stodgy, conservative" image. .

    Welcome to the Dubya school of "Pressure-free" banking!

    And if the president is to practice what he preaches, then he should remoe the fence around the white house.

    I'm getting tired of him using that pressure line on us. Let's talk about the cause of that pressure, shall we?! He always sums big problems up into either a one-liner or a special word or a few sentences.

    We need to talk more about these problems. Don't forget all of these things involve US too!!

    YES! Please remove all security systems and guards from the whitehouse grounds and interior, open up and trust more! Practice what you preach even it is baloney!

    Only one causing pressure on the border is bush, by NOT ENFORCING OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS AND SHOWING THESE PEOPLE THAT WE ARE SERIOUS! YOU would rather put those men/women who TRY to do their job IN PRISON. YOUR loyalty is to the wrong country!!
    Please help save America for our children and grandchildren... they are counting on us. THEY DESERVE the goodness of AMERICA not to be given to those who are stealing our children's future! ... and a congress who works for THEM!

    That's some weird logic from surrender monkey Jorge.

    We could take some pressure off the War on Terror by just blowing up a few Americans every once in a while. But we don't.

    Re: Too Much "Pressure" on America's Borders?

    Here's what I got out of Bush's words: "We cannot fully secure the border unless we take pressure off the border."

    Fact is, we don't have enough bodies (BP's or NG) or equipment on the border to "pressure" anybody or anything. The only "pressure" is the out of control thousands that cross it illegally everyday.

    He wants "pressure" taken off Mexican citizens entering this country. He knows there's at least 10 thousand a day coming across our border. In my opinion Bush thinks of our border with Mexico as being the Mexico border ONLY. Since no amnesty has been granted thus far, Mexico is now giving their people little "devices" to help them not get lost or die in the desert on their way here. Therefore it also means Mexico is under "pressure" to help it's people survive entering our country illegally.

    So if the US gives everyone in Mexico that wants to come to the US a green card, Mexico will take care of the rest and therefore eliminate any need or "pressure" for America to secure it's border, cause it won't have one. Just as Mexico will not allow illegal aliens from other countries to remain in their country, they will not want those same people to enter what they consider theirs anyway, the United States of Mexico (America). Therefore it takes the "pressure" off Mexico AND greedy corporate America.
    Be careful what you wish for...you just might get it!
