Our intelligence agencies do like to know who is living near military bases. The air force, Navy, etc... also have their own mini versions of intelligence agencies that guard the bases.
Could you imagine how many Russian agents moved close to air fields during the cold war just so they could take pictures and report?

Oh gosh, AmericanElizabeth, that is just EERIE. I think you figured it out EXACTLY and I don't think you are being at all paranoid. There was something STRANGE going on with that MARY KAY person. VERY STRANGE. I just shiver at the thought. I know you were PANICKED.

Well Muricah, You Skeered?
In that same town, AE, I knew a young man that served on a Trident missile boat. Ah, the storys he tells! When the missiles get rotated out of the boats, there are fully armed Marines aiming at you while are doing the technical business of getting them out of the sub. Anything goes wrong securitywise the Marines have their orders. He had stood there.
In a mishap that occured near two years ago, one of the missiles banged up against the unprepared housing in a moment of human error. The sub base commander and all those around him including the people who were involved in the affair were almost all summarily replaced, retired, goned.
Serious business to be sure, violating your rights is no real problem now is it? What is it Kissinger said? The illegal we do everyday, the unConstitutional takes a little longer... or something like that.

Very creepy. If I ever see a Pink Cadillac pulling into my driveway....I'll be sure not to respond.
