Republican swamp creatures have no intention to offer real tax reform

    .

When considering tax reform as put forth by our Swamp Creatures in Congress, let us keep in mind that “reform” means changing that which was corrupt from the beginning! And what is it that was corrupt from the beginning that ought to be reformed? Is it not the allowance of Congress to lay and collect a direct tax without apportionment which is calculated from profits, gains, salaries, tips, wages and other “incomes”?

Both the Republican Party Leadership and the Democrat Party Leadership in Congress [House and Senate] have one thing in common when it comes to tax reform. Both want to keep alive the socialist and failed experiment of allowing Congress to lay and collect taxes calculated from profits, gains, salaries, wages, tips, and other lawfully earned incomes. Of course, thinking people know that our Congress critters love this tax because it not only allows them to engage in all sorts of nefarious and corruptible schemes to fatten the fortunes of friends and donors, but also provides an irresistible and subtle power used to enslave the American people and manipulate almost every aspect of their lives.

The socialist experiment with allowing our federal government to lay and collect a direct tax upon individuals and businesses which is calculated from "incomes" has proven to encourage and invite our federal government to impose unequal direct taxation; has allowed our federal government to create privileged classes exempt from taxation; has created a weapon for notoriously evil politicians to harass and punish political foes; has allowed corrupt politicians to require taxpayers to divulge the most personal aspects of their private lives; has allowed our federal government to micro manage our lives and businesses and place the heel of an oppressive government on the necks of America's most productive citizens and business owners, and has resulted in our current state of affairs.

So many of our daily sufferings, including the fleeing of domestic businesses and industries to other countries can be traced to today's corruptible system of “income taxation” that common sense should tell us the only reform needed is to abandon this evil system of taxation and adopt a system of taxation which is based upon principles which do not change with the passage of time. That system is found in Constitution’s original tax plan, now promoted as “The Fair Share Balanced Budget Amendment".

The Fair Share Balanced Budget Amendment

“SECTION 1. The Sixteenth Amendment is hereby repealed and Congress is henceforth forbidden to lay ``any`` tax or burden calculated from profits, gains, interest, salaries, wages, tips, inheritances or any other lawfully realized money.

NOTE: these words would return us to our founding father’s ORIGINAL TAX PLAN as they intended it to operate! They would also end the failed experiment with allowing Congress to lay and collect taxes calculated from lawfully earned "incomes" which now oppresses America‘s economic engine and robs the bread which working people have earned when selling their labor!

"SECTION 2. Congress ought not raise money by borrowing, but when the money arising from imposts, duties and excise taxes are insufficient to meet the public exigencies, and Congress has raised money by borrowing during the course of a fiscal year, Congress shall then lay a direct tax at the beginning of the next fiscal year for an amount sufficient to extinguish the preceding fiscal year's deficit, and apply the revenue so raised to extinguishing said deficit."

NOTE: Congress is to raise its primary revenue from imposts and duties, [taxes at our water’s edge], and may also lay miscellaneous internal excise taxes on specifically chosen articles of consumption, preferably articles of luxury. But if Congress borrows and spends more than is brought in from imposts, duties and miscellaneous excise taxes during the course of a fiscal year, then, and only then, is the apportioned tax to be laid.

"SECTION 3. When Congress is required to lay a direct tax in accordance with Section 1 of this Article, the Secretary of the United States Treasury shall, in a timely manner, calculate each State's apportioned share of the total sum being raised by dividing its total population size by the total population of the united states and multiplying that figure by the total being raised by Congress, and then provide the various State Congressional Delegations with a Bill notifying their State’s Executive and Legislature of its share of the total tax being collected and a final date by which said tax shall be paid into the United States Treasury."

NOTE: our founder’s fair share formula to extinguish an annual deficit would be:

    States’ population

---------------------------- X SUM TO BE RAISED = STATE’S FAIR SHARE

    Total U.S. Population

The above formula, as intended by our founding fathers, is to insure that the people of each state, whenever Congress lays a direct tax, shall contribute a share of a total sum being raised which is proportionately equal to its representation in Congress i.e., representation with a proportional financial obligation!
. An principle which socialists and the friends of big government fear with a passion.

Note also that each State’s number or Representatives, under our Constitution, is also determined by the rule of apportionment:

    State`s Pop.
    ------------------- X House size (435) = State`s No. of Representatives
    U.S. Pop.

"SECTION 4. Each State shall be free to assume and pay its quota of the direct tax into the United States Treasury by a final date set by Congress, but if any State shall refuse or neglect to pay its quota, then Congress shall send forth its officers to assess and levy such State's proportion against the real property within the State with interest thereon at the rate of ((?)) per cent per annum, and against the individual owners of the taxable property. Provision shall be made for a 15% discount for those States paying their share by ((?))of the fiscal year in which the tax is laid, and a 10% discount for States paying by the final date set by Congress, such discount being to defray the States' cost of collection."

NOTE: This section respects the Tenth Amendment and allows each state to raise its share in its own chosen way in a time period set by Congress, but also allows the federal government to enter a state and collect the tax if a state is delinquent in meeting its obligation.

"SECTION 5. This Amendment to the Constitution, when ratified by the required number of States, shall take effect no later than (?) years after the required number of States have ratified it.

“…..with all these blessings, what more is necessary to make us a happy and a prosperous people? Still one thing more, fellow-citizens—a wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government, and this is necessary to close the circle of our felicities“. Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address

I just hope they get the tax cuts to 15% for the businesses and corporations so they bring our jobs and industries back home where they belong. To me that is the most important thing to do right now regarding taxes this year.

I don't think the swamp creatures in Washington, D.C., are about to do that, even though it would be beneficial to America's general welfare. These swamp creatures, like Ryan and Brady, are bought and paid for by our global governance crowd.

American citizens are sick and tired of being made into tax-slaves to finance a maternity ward for the poverty stricken populations of other countries who invade America’s borders to give birth.

I think you're right, johnwk, that's why Trump is taking the message on the road. Congress should have canceled the August recess and stayed in DC to do their work. Bad decision on their part not to do that.

15% is not realistic. That's just Trump's baseline. Remember, according to Trump, everything is negotiable. He proved that with DACA. Oops, excuse me, I'm wrong. The Trump DACA amnesty is the exact same as the Obama DACA amnesty.

If tax reform does get passed, I don't expect the average corporate tax rate to go less than 25%.

25% won't bring our industries back so no point in wasting everyone's time worrying about it. Just admit defeat and that R's are Do-Nothing Losers.

I don't disagree with you. 25% won't have the same effect 15% will, however, it may be better than nothing assuming the bill goes along way in helping the middle class and not a boondoggle to aid the wealthy at everyone elses expense.

The 15% has nothing to do with the "middle class". The 15% is the business and corporate tax rate, nothing to do with personal income tax.

Duh, that wasn't my point. My point is a tax reform package can still be beneficial even without the 15% corporate tax rate if it focusas in the right areas and gives the middle class tax relief.

No, personal income tax rates won't do a thing except run up the deficit. You have to cut business and corporate tax rates to bring back the good jobs and industries to pay for the personal income tax rate cuts.
