Thread: Trump fires f-bombs in Vegas speech

Apr 29, 2011 By Catalina Camia, USA TODAY Donald Trump fired off expletives in a speech to supporters in Las Vegas, blasting President Obama's handling of crises abroad in Iraq and Afghanistan and condemning the nation's leaders as "stupid" people.

Trump, who is weighing a possible campaign for the GOP presidential nomination, assured the crowd of more than 1,000 at the Treasure Island Casino in Las Vegas on Thursday night that he is indeed serious about running for the White House in 2012.

In one of his f-bomb tirades, Trump blasted the emphasis on U.S. efforts to foster democracy in Iraq but lamented that issues on American soil are being ignored.

"We build a school, we build a road, they blow up the school, we build another school, we build another road they blow them up, we build again, in the meantime we can't get a (expletive) school in Brooklyn," Trump said, according to KNTV, an ABC affiliate.

On the subject of China and its trade policy, Trump said: "Listen you (expletive) , we're going to tax you 25%."

The billionaire real estate developer and reality TV show host told the crowd that he's not your typical presidential candidate, but said he's willing to "give a lot of stuff up" to make a presidential bid.

"It is peanuts compared to the importance of this country," Trump said.

Later, he said there is a "good chance" he wouldn't win the presidency "because of one of those blood-sucking politicians."

Nevada will be a player in the contest for the GOP presidential nomination. The Silver State caucuses are scheduled third in the 2012 presidential calendar, behind nominating contests in Iowa and New Hampshire. Trump owns a casino and a luxury condominium tower in Las Vegas.

Trump was speaking before several GOP women's groups on Thursday night.

If any other Republican Candidate wants a chance to beat Trump in the primaries then they need to step up fast and hard. All this media attention on Trump is doing a very good job of drowning them out.

It doesn't bother me ONE BIT the language he uses! He's serious about what he believes and not afraid to roll up his sleeves and take on the LIES that are destroying our Country! We are desperate for someone with the ballz to fix this garbage! Obama is OVER, there's NOTHING he can say to make me vote for him! Go Donald! swear away!!!!!!!!

There is a lot I'm not pleased with in regards to Trump. Knowing what I know about the man, I couldn't vote for him.

Sorry playing nice is over in order to regain control and stop the socialist/communist/democrats, tough talk is necessary, I'm not convinced Trump is the guy however calling opponents my esteemed colleague or opponent is stupid.
