Donald Trump is continuing the reality show that is his Cabinet selection.

The president-elect has been hosting a parade of people he is considering for top spots in his cabinet and on Tuesday he gave some insight into his thinking for head of
Housing and Urban Development.

I am seriously considering Dr. Ben Carson as the head of HUD. I've gotten to know him well--he's a greatly talented person who loves people!

Ben Carson ran against Trump during the primaries but ended up becoming one of his most loyal surrogates and advisers during the general election.

Carson has previously said he was not interested in being in the Cabinet but over the weekend he said that if Trump asked he would give it “very serious consideration.”

It is exceeding rare in the history of presidential transitions for the president-elect to name specific people as potential appointees. That's often because of the high risk of embarrassment for those whose names are floated and then are not picked for jobs.
