How to send Comments to Jeff Sessions

I thought this might be an interesting opportunity. With GOP in control of the federal departments at least we can get them listening to our concerns. In many cases there may or will be career federal employees who will be contrary to what you express. In any comment line, it always helps to be polite and direct. I believe in many cases aides to cabinet officials are supposed to take these public comments, summarize them if numerous, and present them in morning meetings.

I found this comment line for US Attorney General Jeff Sessions. In my case I asked him to reinvigorate the US DOJ policy against foreign lobbying by unregistered agents. IMO, this means that demonstrations and grass roots email campaigns for persons in the US illegally are banned. There can only be contact of US officials from lobbyists who are registered as such. How far this can go, is a good question. The law against unregistered foreign agency was enacted when we feared German and Japanese spies in the late 1930's and typically that unit sends only a warning to an unregistered lobbyist.

I'm not in favor of headline grabbing crackdowns. However lobbying should be deterred, because it is contrary to our goals of national sovereignty and elected officials who are responsive, first and foremost, to US citizens. However, even Democratic and Republican presidents both have sought to uphold this elemental principle. Even Barack Obama, as US Senator protested to the DOJ about unregistered foreign lobbying.

The easiest thing to do would be to simply call the comment line and say you want to leave your opinion for AG Jeff Sessions: 202-353-1555

If you have a Facebook Network or other social media why not share this? I looked at the list of all the minor departments within the DOJ that AG Sessions is responsible for. We need to support and encourage him---even though these comments are going to be filtered through who knows how many levels? I have to say, as an independent, I hope this is the course our country is taking. Every time some GOP Inc. person like Paul Ryan makes a statement about 'entitlements' I don't know if, ultimately, his goal is to axe most of the programs that we have EARNED. I've been getting by on SS, and also a union pension, and with our state's unstable economic history, trust me, it ain't that much. I would like to see my SS increased! Make up for a number of lost earnings years.

So, let's get on with this populist movement. With the economic prosperity that Trump will bring to the US surely we can support hard working Americans who are falling through the cracks. I have heard the concerns about the ACA act. This is where we need some leadership such as FDR had during the great Depression: a brains trust that analyzes the bottom line in healthcare costs and figures out how to bring those down. Jeff Sessions was in my city about 2 months ago; I wish I had met him, although he was speaking to law enforcement.

Bring down healthcare costs by getting refugees off our soil, asylum and TPS off our soil, and illegal aliens along with their anchor rats.

We should not be FORCED to pay for their pregnancies, diseases and healthcare.
