Donald Trump is holding an unannounced meeting with Hispanic leaders in Las Vegas today. After the last meeting with those who support amnesty the messaging got messy.

Though I hope not, I believe the amnesty push and shaming to do so will be part of the conversation today. Those who want amnesty are pushing hard to get Mr. Trump to alter his positions. They won't give up and neither should the American people who reject any type of amnesty.

Hopefully Trump will deal with them as he sees fit - businessman extraordinaire. One has to arise very early in the morning to get over on Trump - so we shall see.

LAS VEGAS
Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump is in Las Vegas for a pair of unannounced events.

Trump held a fundraiser at an undisclosed location at 12 p.m.

He is scheduled to meet with unnamed Hispanic leaders at Trump International Las Vegas at 2 p.m. He is also scheduled to hold a fundraiser at Trump International at 3 p.m.

All of the events are closed to local media.

Trump was initially scheduled to hold a rally in Las Vegas Friday, but his campaign canceled the event earlier this week.

He is still scheduled to attend an event in Lake Tahoe Friday night.

Trump meets with Hispanic backers in visit to Las Vegas

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump met with Hispanic supporters at the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas this afternoon.

Trump arrived at the hotel shortly after 2 p.m., where he greeted enthusiastic supporters in the lobby, pointing at them and giving them the thumbs-up sign. He then went into a meeting with Hispanic supporters, according to a tweet from an Associated Press reporter.

Earlier in the day, a spokesman for Trump’s Nevada campaign would not confirm local media reports that the New York businessman was in Las Vegas campaigning today. The event at the hotel was closed to local news media.

Univision posted a picture on its Facebook page of Trump arriving at Trump International Hotel late this morning, and a KLAS reporter tweeted details of private events Trump was reportedly set to hold in Las Vegas this afternoon.

Trump’s personal plane was also spotted parked on the west side of McCarran International Airport this morning.
Trump is scheduled to appear at a sold-out, closed-to-media fundraiser at 6 tonight at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe in Stateline. Tickets cost $200 a person, with proceeds going to the Nevada Republican Party.

The Republican presidential candidate originally was expected to appear at a rally this afternoon at the South Point Arena, an event the campaign canceled Monday for unspecified reasons.

Meanwhile, former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer is in town helping Donald Trump's campaign open a new office in Las Vegas.

A grand-opening celebration for the Trump-Pence Nevada Victory Headquarters is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 1110 Palms Airport Drive, Suite 120.

Brewer's term as governor ended in 2015.

Members of Culinary Local 226 demonstrated on Friday at Trump International to draw attention to their attempt to begin contract talks for the property near the Strip.

Union members, Trump International workers and Iron Workers Union members who were in town for their national convention joined the protest.

There were approximately 1,200 members at the rally, 4oo of which were local union members, Culinary Workers Union Spokeswoman Bethany Khan said. She said members wanted to negotiate a contract for better benefits, welfare, health insurance, more wages and job security.

Trump International Hotel workers make $3 less an hour than the neighboring 57,000 union workers employed by other Las Vegas hotels, Khan said.

“They are fighting to provide for their families,” she said.
Attempts to reach Trump International representatives for comment were unsuccessful.

A Trump supporter came to the protest holding a sign that read, “Christians for Trump” and was booed by the crowds.

The labor group was recently successful in their drive to unionize when the National Labor Relations Board rejected Trump Ruffin Commercial LLC’s challenge of a December election. In that vote, a majority of the 447 votes cast favored union representation.

The NLRB ruling meant the union will officially represent the more than 500 full-time, part-time and on-call employees in guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage.

The union has held monthly rallies to protest and won’t stop until there is a contract at Trump Hotel International, Khan said.

“There was a lot of solidarity from other union members and allies today, people from all of the U.S. were here,” she also said.

Usually plenty of money behind union protester events. Often see the same shirts, duplicate signs, probably buses, etc.

Trump is meeting with the Hispanic voting machinery in Las Vegas that used illegal aliens to steal the race for Harry Reid vs Sharon Angle in 2010!

Looks like Trump is cutting his deal with the devils.
