How is this relevant to this thread? I thought we were talking about the DACA illegals.

Absolutely, GeorgiaPeach. And he said in the Time magazine article, "I want DREAMERS for our children also." Trump is managing. This is the "management" he talked about. Keep everything calm. I'm telling you, this is a crazy thing, these people are dangerous. It does require good management to control the situation. You have to get them out quickly and quietly. I think that's what he's going to do.
My husband is an American born in a foreign country and lived there the first 16 years of his life while his parents worked for a oil company. He didn't come home to the states to live until he was 16. So his situation is no different at all than the "DREAMERS", except that he was there legally, a US citizen board abroad, would only come home to the states to visit every few years with his parents and siblings, and he grew up fine moving from one country to another. So someone brought to the states by their parents and then deported will not experience anything different than what my husband experienced, and with so many Americans working abroad with their children with them should be the proof in the pudding that going home to your own country is not a punishment, it's just going home where you belong.
Only these whining illegal aliens rant and wail about this. Many legal immigrants here on visas bring their children here and then go home at some point. So this is really NOT the "tough situation" it's presented to be by this horrible mess of illegal aliens. They're nothing but whiners, they do not think straight, they aint right, and they gotta go!!
What good will it do to cancel DACA if an actual bill is rushed through the U.S. Congress to make those illegals under DACA legal immigrants eligible for an eventual path to citizenship? In the end all that is actually happening is you're canceling a temporary amnesty (Executive Order) and replacing it with a permanent amnesty (congressional bill). In the end we will be much worse off than when we started.
If this happens, Trump will have shown that he can be easily manipulated by the amnesty supporting crowd.
No, we're talking about Trump's interview on Fox and Friends where he was asked a question about DACA illegals and in response talked simultaneously about legal and illegal aliens. In the same response he talked about companies moving to Canada where they can hire "the people" they need where they say they can't here. He bounced all over the subject of immigration of all types. That's Trump's way. You ask him a question about one thing and he talks about several things at once. Leaves everyone confused just where he wants them.
MW, we are all frustrated that this keeps hanging over our nation and never seems to be resolved or end in the right way. We don't want to trade one bad amnesty situation for another through legislation so we need to be working all along to push back against those ongoing efforts.
He does leave us confused at times Judy. On illegal immigration I wish he had the same heartfelt and unwavering convictions like Stephen Miller and that he could it express it clearly without wavering. He has seemed too in the past.
Time will tell. I know we are tired of the years of waiting.
Yes, GeorgiaPeach, we all need to make it clear that there is this vast Trump World that is 100% opposed to illegal immigration of any kind, opposed to massive legal immigration that we don't need and can't sustain, that we're fed up with refugees and asylums-seekers from everywhere.
We're full to the brim, our pot is boiling over, we're $20 trillion in debt, we have 94 million working age Americans out of the work force, and the lowest labor participation rate in multiple decades. There is no room in our inn for illegal aliens of any age or circumstance, with any type of sob story. We have our own tens of millions of sob stories. It has to end and end now. NO LEGAL STATUS FOR ANY ILLEGAL ALIEN. PERIOD.
