Thread: Why are African Americans brainwashed about illegal immigration?

I am in the Chicago area, which has the highest illegal alien population outside of the southwest. Besides non-blacks like me being affected by illegal immigration in this area, African Americans are the most affected, because these illegals are taking an enormous amount of jobs away from the African American community here in the Chicago area, yet, you will see on the news African American Chicago politicians blasting Trump on wanting to deport illegals. These illegals are the same people who have devasted the African American community in Chicago by taking jobs away from them. If that's not bad enough, I can't tell you how many times I have heard illegals where I work talk about their hatred for black people, using the "N" word to describe African Americans. So why on earth are African Americans so brainwashed into blindly defending people who hate them and who are stealing their jobs on top of it?

That is the "6 Million Dollar" question we have yet to find an answer to.

You would think these African Americans would be taking a stand against the illegal invasion of our Country. I think they have a 150 year old chip on their shoulder. The likes of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson keep the hate going, so did the Obama's. The Democrats have also fueled the fire instead of solving the problems of inner cities.

They are uneducated because they have no appreciation for education. They have no concept of the real world, have no drive to succeed, and most have lived in generations of poverty in Section 8 housing. Many are families without a father, many have children with multiple fathers. Why should they have a "will" to succeed or work when they have lived off the Government dole for decades, have no role models, no morals? When everything is given to you, you have no respect for property, yourself...YOU need to earn it.

They are mired in hate, of their own doing, they have no one to blame but themselves for their lot in life and the irresponsible decisions they make.

I agree 100% with you that the democrats are to blame, as well as the illegal immigration, for most of them living in poverty here in Chicago. Trump was right when he said in the campaign something about how the democrats throw a few scraps to the black community and make them a bunch of empty promises in order to get their votes, and then they forget about them for the next 4 years until it's time for elections again. I really believe Trump when he told the black community..."I will be the best president you ever had".

First of all, getting rid of all these illegals here in Chicago will open up an enormous amount of jobs for them. And black leaders of the African American community here in Chicago are always saying....."We don't need more policing, what we need are jobs". Well, taking care of the illegal immigration problem here in Chicago will take care of that alone. Second, the money that illegals make here in the U.S. doesn't even benefit the local economies, because they send most of that money back across the border. If we deported these illegals and gave these jobs back to Chicagoans, including African Americans, all that money would go right back into the local economy. And the benefits would be two-fold. Not only would that money go right back into the local economy instead of escaping across our southern border, but it would also save the taxpayer an enormous amount of money that is spent on social programs such as welfare because almost everyone would be working, and also, this saved taxpayer money could also as well go right back into the economy for infrastructure projects and so on, which would create even more jobs. It's just too bad that Democrats don't see these benefits and instead insist on the destruction of our cities by making our cities "sanctuary cities".

It's an excellent question. It's inexplicable.

Hispanic Activist: Democrats are ‘Racist’, ‘Don’t Care About Us’

LOS ANGELES — Jorge Herrera, 31, an American-born Hispanic activist, unloaded on the Democratic Party this week, detailing his belief that despite pretending they are “all-inclusive” and the party for minorities, in reality Democrats are “racist” and “don’t care about us.”

Herrera told Breitbart News, “I think it’s pretty racist that the media, especially the left and the Hillary Clinton campaign, only thinks of the illegals as Hispanic. But they never talk about the illegals from the European areas and Asia. They only talk about the illegals from Hispanic countries because they are pandering and want the votes. They don’t care about us. The Hispanic and black communities are suffering.”

He said the way the Democratic Party retains power is by pandering to Hispanics, African-Americans and minorities. “And if you read Clinton’s college thesis, she practices Saul Alinsky’s practice of targeting minority communities.”

Herrera, who is a member of “Latinos for Trump,” blasted Democratic leadership over Democratic National Committee (DNC) emails released by WikiLeaks, in which they referred to Hispanics as “taco bowls” (after an infamous Donald Trump tweet). “Within their leadership, they were talking about mopping up taco bowl engagement. Trump doesn’t refer to us as ‘taco bowl engagement,'” he said of Hispanics, noting that he simply has a picture of food that was created by Hispanics whom he employed and to whom he gave job opportunities.

“The left will take any little comment and spin it into something that it’s not. And now they are referring to us as ‘taco bowl engagement,'” Herrera said. “It’s inappropriate and racist in our book. It’s not right.”

He added, “The whole point is, we are addressing the language of the DNC. One of the emails says that in terms of Hispanics, they look at us as a product or an object they are thinking that they can acquire.” He called the leaked DNC email “latently racist” and said the Democrats “are targeting Hispanics as a brand. Thank goodness for WikiLeaks.”

Herrera elaborated on how his lower middle-class family’s struggles pushed him to work harder to uplift himself. On the topic of welfare, he said it is merely a tool being used by the Democratic Party to keep Hispanics and African-Americans down.

“The minorities think they’re being helped but if you look at cities like Chicago, Baltimore and Detroit, they are proof that their handouts and entitlements don’t work.” He said the Democrats “have manipulated people. They keep people ignorant by making them think that handing them entitlement programs and welfare and benefits helps them out, economically speaking. But in reality, when you look at statistical data — Chicago, Baltimore and Detroit — they are never able to leave the ghetto and the lower socioeconomic demographic.”
He added:

I was from a lower middl- class family. My parents always held full time jobs. We struggled when I was growing up and I watched my dad work two jobs to make ends meet and that’s what woke me up. They came to this country legally and it’s time for me to step it up and use the opportunity they gave me to step it up from the struggle they experienced as a lower middle-class family. I chose to go to school and now I make a living and I’m successful. I didn’t want to accept welfare. I chose to leave “the plantation.” so to speak.

Herrera said his message to Hispanic voters is “just stop falling victim and stop listing to the mainstream media lies in terms of what Univision’s Jorge Ramos and pro-Hillary people are pushing.” He added, “It’s time for people to wake up and inform themselves of the lies of the Democratic Party and realize the Republican Party is the party that wants to support Hispanics and to wean them off the government teat.”

I couldn't have said it better myself.

I hope Black Americans wake up to the fact that when the Democrats throw the "race card", it's not about black Americans, it's about their vote. The lives that Democrats want to foster is not the lives of Black Americans, but the lives of illegal aliens. The "race card" is a drug cartel tactic, not part of our political process in 2017.

Republicans freed the slaves, established civil rights for them, many of these were over-turned by Democrats with court challenges, black codes, and Jim Crow laws. Republicans kept fighting for black Americans and made more progress with the 1957 US Civil Rights Act, largely gutted by Democrats, but one that pushed some important aspects forward. The US Civil Rights Act of 1964 actually written by Republicans was supported by 80% of Republicans in Congress while Democrats only supported it with about 55% support, and only at that number because of Lyndon Johnson.

Republicans need to tell the truth to the American People about what Republicans have done. For far too long, Republicans have been too quiet about their relentless efforts on behalf of black Americans. The reason why they don't tout it during campaigns is because as a philosophy they don't want black Americans to feel like they owe Republicans anything, they want them to be free of all that suffering and struggle and vote for who today they think is best for them.

I understand the position of not exploiting black votes, and appreciate the objective, but when Democrats win elections on lies, falsehoods, deceptions and so forth, I think a different approach is necessary because the very people our party was formed to help continue to suffer in large numbers as a result of those lies and deceptions, because too many of them don't know the truth.

Truth is never wrong. Truth is what really sets US all free. It's time for Republicans to stand up and speak out about who has actually done what for black Americans, because black Americans deserve to know the truth about their history due to the impact it has on how they view and deal with the issues of today, especially political ones that affect their jobs, livelihoods, safety and economic security.

This election isn't about "voting rights". Every US citizen can vote in any US election anywhere they are registered, any time there is an election. That's a fact. This election was about JOBS, JOBS, JOBS, JOBS and fixing our country for black Americans, white Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, all Americans.

It isn't clear to me that the African-American leadership referenced is in line with the beliefs of the average African-American. From my experience there are many black folks who oppose illegal aliens. What's holding them back is that they don't trust the Republicans. What is needed to rally them is a Democrat opposed to illegal aliens.

You're right, artclam, they don't trust Republicans because Republicans have never stood up against the lies and deceptions of the DemoQuack Voting Machine winning elections on phony race cards and hand-outs.

Trump's got this, as hard as it's going to be to watch both Trump and our good Republicans fight their way through it. Trump said in his O'Reilly interview when asked how he felt personally about these types of attacks and how he was going to deal with it, Trump said he doesn't like the attacks, but the way he's going to solve it is to succeed with his agenda. He believes that when he delivers and people see that his way was the right way to fix our country, that this will put an end to most of it.

He's such a good spirit with such a good soul. He really is a warrior for the American People. I wish more people would take the time to watch his interviews in full and see and hear more from him so they could really see and hear for themselves who he is and what he's trying to do, unfiltered by the media. Any Americans who fails to do that will be missing out on one of the greatest periods in US history by being on the wrong side of it.

Despite the fact that racism no longer has any vitality as an ideology among thinking citizens, many African Americans are still sensitive about these kinds of attitudes. Illegal immigrants of all races probe this sensitivity to enfranchise African Americans politically against resistance to illegal immigration. There is also the troubled history of making African Americans citizens in the US, something illegal immigrants care nothing about. Also, African American identity is further confused by racially African immigrants who do not share the experience of slavery in the United States, or even North America before the United States.

And also African Americans are most in touch with the unsupported view that getting rid of illegal immigrants is going to some make more jobs available for citizens. This is not true because illegal immigrants benefit from employment by other legal immigrants who have carved out a piece of the US economy for their own purposes. They have become economic colonials and not just social colonials. If we manage to get rid of their illegal immigrant labor, they are not going to hire citizens and they are going to take their piece of the US economy and run with it or sell it cheap where it is worth anything at all.

Illegal immigrants aren't doing anything the US needs or wants and what they do isn't worth a damn anyway. It is work of an inferior quality. African Americans can see this and don't see much of a future in the jobs being done by illegals.
