    The Uninformed Electorate

I just spoke with one of my co-workers and I'm so frustrated that I have to write about it. Tracie is a very nice lady, but she's dumb as a box of rocks. We go to the same church and often go out to lunch together. We both share many of the same core values that I share with fellow posters here at ALIPAC. Here was our discussion that left me very frustrated:

Tracie: So who'd you vote for today?

Me: Romney. Who'd you vote for?

    Tracie: McCain.

    Me: Why?

Tracie: I heard he was leading in the polls and that he could beat Hillary.

After I told her about McCain's record, her jaw just about hit the floor and I could sense that she was embarrassed. She is just about the only co-worker I didn't try to convince to go with Romney. I don't know why. It just slipped my mind. This is a great example of how the MSM can influence an election. I'm afraid that there are many Tracie's out there and that's why we are like sheep going to the slaughter. Our founding fathers are rolling over in their graves right now.

It's sadly true.....many, maybe most, pick the candidate by listening to the MSM.

Securetheborder, there are too many like her out there. They simply follow what they are told they should think and do, then when things go bad, they are the first ones to start wailing.

I did vote for Bush (but then again, we could have had Gore!!!!! ), then really wished I had not, but Gore, well......Anyways, we all at times make mistakes we wish we could have taken back, but this time around I am fighting for what is best for this country, and doing it as an informed American, that is the opposite of what most candidates like McCain want (thus the reason when he is confronted about his politics that he gets red-faced angry and has people drug out of meetings).

Start telling your friend she needs to start studying up on the issues and candidates, it is Americans best defense, and one we have taken for granted for too long (thus the reason we have unsecured border, thousands killed because of open borders and all too many terrorist threats inside of our country).

yes, I'm finding I have to keep my own family informed. They have computers but won't even take the time to learn to use them. LOL
So, I have to call about every week to let them know whats going on.

My mom does go online and goes into these chat rooms where elderly people go. According to her, they have no clue and they believe every word the MSM says, they won't even make an effort to try and look up stuff to find out the truth online. She goes in every few days and tells them stuff over and over, but they won't listen. All they say is"Well CNN or MSNBC or FOX said this and that". Thats why we are where we are.
Unless we get those criminals & make them pay for what they have done to our country and the lawlessness they have sponsored, we are just another Mexico ourselves!

The forefathers made it where you had to own land to vote -now I never would advocate that, but thier point was that most people who owned land at that time period had some education and they wanted the educated to vote. They did not want someone to herd people to the polls with promises of money etc.I hate my vote is canceled out by dopes who have been driven to the polls, given a piece of paper of whom to vote for in return for a mcdonalds hamburger and an apple pie
