Unite or loose
This has been a nightmare to me the way this Election is headed just when I thought Mcamnesty was out of the picture all of a sudden he is the front runner ? What did I miss ? Did the American people forget that he was one of the leaders of the amnesty bills that we were so outraged about only 7 or 8 months ago? How fast we forget or could it be that our fellow Americans do not care.
The way I see it we all must unite behind a single candidate and I would love nothing more to say that man would be a Tom Tencredo,Duncan Hunter even Ron Paul but lets face it if we wait for any of the first choices we wont have a chance. And that leaves only one choice in my opinion Mitt Romney.
This is my first post here although I have followed these forums to get most of my information for allmost a year now.I figured it was time to chime in thanks for having this site it has been most usefull for guildance in making calls etc...this past yearWe can't deport them all ? Just think of the fun we could have trying!

Welcome Justonehero.
About McAmnesty, I agree. He was dead in the water just a few short months ago. I think he was in 4th place, without a chance in the world...Then BAM, front-runner.
I have a little conspiracy theory there. I think that Rudy Giuliani was working for him the whole time. They knew that McCain was not popular amongst conservatives, and it would get worse with the amnesty bill, so they dressed up Rudy as the front-runner. Playing the 9-11 card, the leadership, the war on terror, getting Americans behind a guy many (mistakenly) believe was the hero of that tragic time. Then they have him not even campaign in the crucial early primaries. His votes go to McCain, then he pulls out and endorses him. And just like that McCain magically becomes the front-runner. Would have never happened without Rudy.
Or Thompson. His buddy who ran only to steal votes from Romney, giving McCain South Carolina. The final piece to the puzzle is Huckabee....taking Southern conservative votes from Romney, sealing the deal for Super Tuesday, and a McCain nomination.
They made the impossible, possible. IMO, all those guys were working for John McCain.
I agree we need to support Romney. Certainly not my first choice. But between Paul and Romney, I do not have a preference. Mitt has a chance to take McCain down, and Paul doesn't.Serve Bush with his letter of resignation.
See you at the signing!!

And it all goes back to voting for the lesser of two evils. Do you think you can really trust Romney? Look at his immigration record. You all say RP can't win so don't vote for him.. If he had a vote for everytime someone said he can't win so I am not going to vote for him, he could win. Sure It would be nice to have a person to be able to back up for a second choice, however the prediction of future actions are determined by past actions. RP is the only one that has been steady and true throught his career. So you are saying that after all of my hard work to help get him elected I should just chuck it to Romney, who I don't think you can trust to do what he says. Look at Bush, he ran on a small government platform. What the HELL happened? So sorry, I am voting for who I feel is the right candidate.
