Urge McCain to Sign Sen. Session's Immigration Pledge?

Since Mitt Romney has endorsed John McCain, perhaps this would be a good time to begin an organized campaign to strongly urge McCain to sign Sen. Jeff Session's pledge to enact "15 specific actions necessary to create a lawful system of immigration" for the United States! So far, only Mike Huckabee has signed it, and a campaign to ask Sen. McCain to sign Sen. Session's pledge would help bring the issue of illegal immigration back to the forefront of discusssion within a very positive context: Session's "15 specific actions" present thoughtful, concrete solutions to many of our nation's immigration problems!

Great idea but it would be like spitting into the wind. McCain is a total amnesty freak.

You got to give him credit for surviving what he did in the Hanoi Hilton, which is why he will never sway from his decision. He made his mind up to live, stuck with it out through that hell and came home. Now this type of thinking is ingrained in him. He will not sway, he may let you think he will but he will not.

Couldn't hurt to have Session's Pledge still being discussed on Talk Radio -just to keep the issue "in the public ear"- whether McCain would actually sign it or not? That way he at least would have to give the public specific reasons he objects to agreeing with Sen. Session's 15 courses of action! Just a thought!

Huckabee and Paul signed it, but Romney didn't, and there is no way McChe would ever sign it.

John would think it would be a disgrace to treat people that way. I know, because I just watched McChe on the Larry King show, and that is basically what he said.

Correct!! But we just need to publicize that fact!

Thank you, Jonathan - exactly my point! And the same holds true for questioning Obama and Clinton publically about their points of disagreement with Session's pledge, even tho we know signing it is not a consideration with them!
