Market Place NPR today a short art. on illegal immigration !
Marketplace- on National Public Radio just did a short piece on JObs and the illegal immgration-
Important Fact: Five thousand illegal immigrants were interviewed and only 5 % came to the united states because they couldnt find work.
THe Illegal Migrants had jobs - onlythe Illegal Migrants made half as much in Mexico, their own country, so they came here __
The study also found that illegal Migrants pretty much come and go as they please in the United States and that manufacturing- constuction and hositality were major employers for the Illegals.
The interview ended with the pro immigration statement that since they are already coming here and they cant be stopped a legal solution should be arrived at- ( very vague that)
Ps I think they interviewed William in the against illegal immigration part of the interview- it went so fast!

The legal from my standpoint would be to seal the borders and deport the illegal immigrants.

I wish we could get more true reporting like this. When I tell someone that there are jobs in Mexico, they come back at me with "but the people are starving and they have to do something to support their families." I asked where did you hear that? They say, they wouldn't take the risk to come across the desert if it weren't so bad. I say, how do they come up with $2000 to pay a coyote then? They say, maybe the relatives it the US sent it to them.
Why won't US media go to Mexico and report what life is really like there?Illegal aliens remain exempt from American laws, while they DEMAND American rights...

mapwife and et all- the Pew Hispanic Center did this study and the entire long article was posted by Virgina Mama- with the Title ::Pew Hispanic Center.....
why doesnt the media report accurately? who knows - maybe they dont want to know the truth- maybe they too are invested in keeping their cash flow- caught between advertisers who hire illegals and viewing illegals as a future source of income-

Probably because it isn't quite so easy to go to other lands and start sticking your nose into places they don't think it belongs like it is here. Half the news here is made up because they would never be able to get the information they claim to get in foreign lands. People have been executed or have just "disappeared" for asking questions in foreign lands. Given that Mexico is probably one of the most corrupt nations on earth, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they don't get a little bit touchy about people asking too many questions there.

30-60-90
Im goin with the 30 60 90 plan.
Illegals and their employers.
First offense 30 days in work camp jail
second offense 60 days
third offense 90 days.
Jails should be tents and paid for with seized assetsof employers and illegals.
The holding of illegals would cut money streams to mexico. And honest businesses would have a short period of time to catch up.
CEO' CFO's as well as supervisors and small business contractors welcome to go camping.
