MS-13 recruiting elementary kids via Facebook

One of the aspects of illegal immigration often overlooked is the affect upon the 33,000 street gangs, prison gangs and motorcycle gangs with up to 1.4 million members in the United States and Puerto Rico, according to the FBI.The gang considered the most dangerous is Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13, which has ties to the Mexican Mafia. MS-13 is the ISIS of domestic gangs, and it is multiplying like flies in the U.S. and flowing across our southern border like gnats through a screen.

According to the Washington Times, MS-13 has a major smuggling operation in Mexico, which transports drugs, firearms, prostitutes and other human trafficking, including illegal immigrants.

“Their activities have helped make the Northern Triangle – Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras – the most violent place in the world that is not at war. In October 2012, the U.S. Department of the Treasury labeled the group a ‘transnational criminal organization,’ the first such designation for a US street gang,” according to InsightCrime.org.

From coast to coast in the U.S., MS-13 has been growing exponentially. Though numbers vary, experts estimate there are more than 70,000 MS-13 members in the Northern Triangle, with at least 10,000 members in the U.S. today, many of whom are illegals, with more pouring into our country through the southern border every day.

Citing FBI and other sources, Wikipedia explains: “In the U.S., the MS-13 has an especially heavy presence in Los Angeles County and the San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California; the Washington, D.C. metropolitan areas of Fairfax County, Virginia, Montgomery County, Maryland, and Prince George’s County, Maryland; Queens, New York; Long Island, New York; Newark, New Jersey, Plainfield, New Jersey; Jersey City, New Jersey; Elizabeth, New Jersey; the Boston, Massachusetts area; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Houston, Texas. There is also a presence of MS-13 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.”

The FBI reported: “Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13, continues to expand its influence in the United States. FBI investigations reveal that it is present in almost every state and continues to grow its membership, now targeting younger recruits more than ever before.” And it is using the simplest of social media – like Facebook – to carry out its dirty deeds.

Proof of that was found again last Thursday, when it was discovered MS-13 was recruiting members as young as elementary school children in the Washington, D.C., area.
Northern Virginia Regional Task Force Director Jay Lanham explained, “They’re recruiting in grade-school but generally 5th grade and on.”

The gang is also being connected to a rash of kidnappings and heinous murders of young girls in Maryland, according to CBS.
Caught on camera, 15-year-old Damaris Reyes was so viciously murdered that Virginia’s Fairfax County Police Chief Roessler described the grotesque crime only as: “Savage, brutal killing. It was horrific. I’ll leave it at that.”

Police arrested 10 MS-13 members – four illegal aliens – in connection with Rivas’ death.

The Washington Post reported in January that a 22-year-old man was lured from New Jersey to Maryland, where he was expecting to rendezvous with a woman whom he met on Facebook. Instead, he was murdered by MS-13 members, who created the woman’s fictitious Facebook page to entice the victim.

In Texas, the MS-13 gang is engaging in severe tactics like machete-hacking murders, rape and even scalping, according to the Texas Sheriff’s Association.

Jackson County Sheriff Andy Louderback explained, “They have distinguished themselves as to the level of violence by committing heinous acts including hacking people to death with a machete, scalping, and raping young girls. They are a Tier 1 threat in Texas.”

And on the West Coast of Northern California, Homeland Security raids this last week led to arrests and indictments of 11 MS-13 members in Santa Cruz, who were linked with a few homicides in that area, too.

So, who has allowed the proliferation and growth of MS-13 into the U.S.?

In 2016, under the Obama administration, the Department of Health and Human Services transferred thousands of unaccompanied illegal minors, some of whom were linked and identified as gang members by U.S. Border Patrol agents, to large U.S. cities that rank among the top strongholds of MS-13.

Breitbart reported, “The more than 57,000 illegal unaccompanied minors who have flooded across the U.S. border from Mexico since October of last year have come from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador – all countries with strong ties to MS-13 and other Latin American gangs and crime operations.”
What’s even more alarming is that, way back in 2005, the Honduran security minister and the president of El Salvador warned that MS-13 was in dialogue with al-Qaida to transport terrorists into our country.

In 2014, Michael Maloof, a top U.S. Defense Department analyst under President Bush and senior staff writer for WND and expert on the Middle East, said, “ISIS may be working to infiltrate” the U.S. with the aid of transnational drug cartels like MS-13.
Maloof explained, “MS-13 already are in over 1,100 U.S. cities, and, as a consequence, the infiltration capabilities are very, very high and the threat from them can be sooner rather than later.”
In January 2015, the FBI reported, “In less than two years, ISIS has gone from a terror start-up overseas to what FBI Director James Comey calls a ‘chaotic spider web’ in the U.S., with young Muslim men being radicalized in Illinois and the 49 other states.” ISIS also uses social media like a job fair to do it.

Comey explained to ABC7 I-Team Investigation: “Those people exist in every state. I have homegrown violent extremist investigations in every single state. Until a few weeks ago, there was 49 states. Alaska had none, which I couldn’t quite figure out. But Alaska has now joined the group, so we have investigations of people in various stages of radicalizing in all 50 states.”
It should be remembered that all of this rapid infiltration and growth of ISIS and MS-13 in the U.S. and around the world occurred under the Obama administration. And the mainstream media have been its right hand enablers. Media outlets are still working double time to try and convince the American public that immigration policies and problems – particularly those now of the Trump administration – are only deporting innocent people and splitting apart law-abiding families. Nothing could be further than the truth. So very little is reported about the abundance of gang and mafia activity and influence through our southern border, and yet it cripples and kills America’s youth every day.

With ISIS and MS-13 in every state of the union and growing, why is there any debate at all about what needs to be done? There are three solutions: 1) Seek, find and oust the criminals; 2) bolster the southern border; 3) give more support and resources to local, federal and border agency law enforcement to deal with the pervasive and growing violent threat to nearly every neighborhood across the U.S.

Every one of us should be supporting our local law enforcement in one way, shape or form. At the very least, extend a hand of gratitude to those who serve in your neighborhoods, and thank them for protecting your community from crime, criminals and other thugs. And also support other agencies that support them.
In the Lone Star State, where we live on our ranch, my wife, Gena, and I support Toni Pickens (Boone Pickens’ wife) organization called Operation Blue Shield, as well as Crime Stoppers of Houston and the North Texas Crime Prevention Association. In 2016, we even attended the Sheriffs’ Association of Texas 138th Annual Training Conference & Expo at the Gaylord in Dallas.
There’s one more thing that each one of us can do: safeguard our own families and communities. Do you know where your kids and grandkids are surfing on the Internet? Do you realize that ISIS and MS-13 are actively trying to influence and recruit them through the most basic of social media platforms like Facebook?

Protecting and building up younger generations is the reason one of my wife, Gena, and my greatest missions in life is our nonprofit organization, KickStart Kids, which teaches youth character through karate. Seventy percent of the kids in our program are Latinos, and gangs are constantly trying to recruit them. But we will not allow anyone to participate in the program if they are a part of any gang. KickStart has provided an alternative and safe haven for young people from gangs, and that is one more reason we believe it should be in every state across the nation.

Do what you can to help the youth in your area. Volunteer at the local chapters of YMCA or your church’s youth groups. And, of course, report any suspicious activity in your community to the FBI, which has several Violent Gang Tasks Forces operating across the country.

Like it or not, Adolf Hitler was right, and ISIS and MS-13 know it, too: “He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future.”

    Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
