Thread: Video: Why America is Being Transformed

Friday morning, April 29, c-span broadcast a speech and forum
on "Homeland Security and Business".

What is most important about this event is the introductory remarks
made in the first 5 minutes of the video by Tom Donahue, the
president and CEO of the National Chamber Foundation.

Mr. Donahue states flat out what he sees as the means to drive the US
economy:

"1) Fast cycle logistics

2) International Travel

3) and immigrants in search of opportunity"

He goes on to say that we must make it easier for foreigners who want
jobs to come here and that we must give the hard-working illegal
immigrants who are already here the opportunity for an "earned
pathway for legal recognition".

Mr. Donahue's remarks make it clear that it is business that is
driving the transformation of the US:

Watched the clip. Mr. Donahue needs to get a clue. He stated that the "economy will collapse in many ways" without immigrants who will do the jobs that "Americans won't do."
Same tired bs that has been disproven over, and over again.
Mr. Donahue, we don't need to revise "immigration policy."
We need to ENFORCE IMMIGRATION LAW.

I watched a few minutes. It's the same crap we hear day in and day out.
Bush, Chertoff an Gonzales, have some crazy idea that American citizens are going snap to attention and feed those power-hungry idiots their every wish.
They are afraid international travelers will take their business elsewhere if we make it harder to get into the country. SO WHAT? Let them shop somewhere else, I don't care. I don't particularly want to worry about me or anyone else getting harmed by some foreigner who wants to commit suicide and take us all along while doing it.

Boycott the US Chamber of Commerce!! Tell your friends and associates who are members to drop their membership.

It's my understanding that this is a partnership created by the United States Chamber of Commerce specifically to push NAFTA, Open Borders and illegal immigration into the United States with the outcomes we all know about now.

Startling given the small number of Mexicans that were here then......but wow, do we have alot now....many working where Americans used to be.
