We Must Be In a Recovery – Unemployment is 5.9%

Unemployment dropped to a new low for the Obama administration proving that we're in a solid economic recovery if you're economically illiterate.

Unemployment – the U3 rate from the Bureau of Labor Statistics – dropped to a new low for the Obama administration proving that we’re in a solid economic recovery. That’s a true statement for people who are on drugs, drunk, or economically illiterate. Or Democrats, who are all three.
In reality, the headlines applauding the unemployment rate dropping below 6% are nothing more than proof of the fact that the major media are still bowing at their statuettes of Barack. The underlying numbers, which you will not hear or see from the networks or the NYT/WaPo/AP Axis of Irrelevency, tell us more about what’s going on and just how incompetent the Obama administration really is.
In reality, what we’re seeing is the Democrats’ War on Women and their War on Workers. The real numbers, along with a cursory look at Barack Obama’s policies, look like this.
…the collapse in the labor force participation rate, which in September slid from an already three decade low 62.8% to 62.7% – the lowest in over 36 years, matching the February 1978 lows. And while according to the Household Survey, 232,000 people found jobs, what is more disturbing is that the people not in the labor force, rose to a new record high, increasing by 315,000 to 92.6 million!



That’s not what a “recovery” looks like. Fewer people working, more people on food stamps. That may be a progressive utopia, but it’s certainly not a “growing economy.” It’s substantially fewer people paying for the cost of government, and the cost of government is going up because those people not working – 92.6 million of them – aren’t living off their savings.
In terms of the Democrats’ War on Women,
A record 55,553,000 women 16 years and older did not participate in the labor force in September, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). This means that 55,553,000 women in the United States did not have a job and did not actively seek one in the past four weeks.



Note that there are fewer people working today, and fewer women, than when Barack Obama took office. He can prattle on about how he cares about people, and his party can howl about how Republicans hate women, but when all is said and done, it’s Obama and his Party’s policies that are carrying out that war.
As an example, Obama is promising the illegal alien lobby that he’s going to wave his mighty pen after the election and declare amnesty for at least 5 million of them. The reality is, that will raise the number people not working from 92.6 million to 97.6 million. It will also create significant downward pressure on wages at the low end of the scale because out of the five million illegal aliens the President wants to welcome with open arms, the number of them who are illiterate, can’t speak English, are uneducated, and are unskilled, number about five million. In other words, look out McDonalds, here they come.
Democrats, and especially this administration are the poster children for hypocrisy and for being duplicitous. George Orwell must be spinning in his grave.
