We're not losing steam on the DREAM Act fight - are we?

Come on, people. Chatter is light. I know we're beginning to get a bit exhausted but we have to keep on keeping on. We cannot lose this fight!!! If this gets passed, the NO AMNESTY wall starts to crumble.

    Keep calling, faxing and e-mailing.

Here's some action items from ALIPAC posted yesterday:

    NUMBERS USA Update:
    http://www.numbersusa.com/index

(September 26) Today, senators are slated to resume debate on H.R. 1585, the Defense Department authorization bill for fiscal year 2008. At some point during the debate, open-borders senators may attempt to attach three proposals that, when taken together, would grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens and dramatically increase the importation of foreign workers at a time 10 million Americans are looking for jobs and can't find employment.

Click here to send free faxes asking Senators to kill the amnesty attempt.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has not announced when a vote will occur on the DREAM Act amnesty amendment (now SA 2919).

It will take 41 NO votes to kill this amnesty. Currently, only 22 Senators are telling their constituents that they will vote NO on the amnesty.

Click to see list of Anti-Amnesty Champions who have officially pledged to vote NO.

The pressure is building. We're not losing steam.

I have been calling & faxing steadily.

I have told them all today about specific crimes committed by illegal aliens of the age group who would be eligible for this DA amnesty. I an so angry when I speak that my voice shakes and I can barely control myself and I am not putting on an act for them. I feel this. Just now the aide at Sen. Webb's office got very quiet when I finished talking. When he finally spoke he even seemed upset.

Like everyone else here, I fight against amnesty for a number of reasons, but my main reason is for my children and their future. I will never give up.

I've noticed a large decline in media and the Internet since the last amnesty bill was defeated also some Internet forums that I view have forbid any political discussions aimed in my opinion at Illegal Immigration.

An unaware public will not voice an opinion, we need to stay alert, write and call your reps.
I'm old with many opinions few solutions.
