What do I do?
I was married to a women this past summer. At the time she did not disclose her leagl status to me, until after we were married. It soon became appaerant that she was after immirgartion papers. I left her for that reason. When unpacking my stuff I realized that she had stolen all of my legal papers,(birth certifcate, divorce papers, ssn card). Through a mutual friend I have learn that she has filed some of her paerwork using my documments. What should I do?

You need to call ICE right away! Go into the ALIPAC Action Panel on the top tool bar and click on 'Law Enforcement Resources' Then call ICE Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
They should point you in the right direction.
Good luck and please keep us posted. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

PS: You also need to call the courthouse and an attorney to try and have your marriage anulled(sp?) as soon as possible to protect your credit. You also need to put a fraud alert on your credit, change your locks and all passwords on your bank accounts. Also, contact your local police and see about fraud charges.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I called DHS/ICE they took my information but failed to say if any action would be taken. They also said they would not be able to follow up with me. They really did not seem to be interested in it at all. I did connact the credit people and filed a fraud alert.

That is sooooo cold my friend. Please tell us what her NAME is so we can get her on Americas most wanted. What she did is a FELONY. This is the character of some of the people that want to live here. She is living here now more than likely and with that attitude going to hurt someone else. Hang in there!! Naturalglenn

IMO, this is the kind of story adored by the wire services. Tell it to Drudge, Bill O'Reilly, Neal Boortz, Michelle Malkin, et al. I'm sure you're not alone gspva and with all the others, you may find legal and political strength in numbers. Good luck. Keep us posted as I'm also sure everyone here is interested in your progress.

gspva,
I would suggest that you contact Susan Tully, Midwest Field Director for FAIR (Federation for American Immigration Reform). It's a large, national group. Susan is working with a small group of men and women who have been victims of immigration marriage fraud. I don't know if they have come up with any solutions yet but at least you can find people with similar experiences to talk to and get ideas from.
I hate that ICE is all we can recommend. They are swamped and can't respond to everything and they don't give you any feedback.
Here's the link to email Susan through FAIR's website:

I sent Susan an email once and never got a reply. Had great success with their Wester coordinator Rick Oltman and the FAIR Attorney and several others.
I bet she gets a lot of email like I do.

Well, she probably answers more email than ICE does!
I don't comment on every article people send me. I get too much! I do try to respond to any real inquiries sent directly to me, not a list. But if I'm working on a project, it could take a while.
Susan doesn't answer all my emails either. I suggested her because I know she's working on the marriage fraud issue and I referred someone else to her. I don't know about the other people you mentioned at FAIR.

I've heard so many stories of heartbreak over this issue. Killed children, missing children, runaway spouses.
And dealing with the biased media makes me the sickest! This past week I had to fight several burn attempts and slug it out day and night.
Sometimes I stop and ask myself "couldn't someone else do this? Why me? Damn this is a lot of hell to deal with."
One day this week I came home exhausted and checked my e-mail after going toe to toe with the enemy all day long. This e-mail really lifted my spirits. I've taken the name off, but I would like to share it.
"Mr. Gheen I respect the political sacrifice you are making for your country and many
others do as well...your insights and courage to speak should be applauded....You
are up against a lot but You have a lot of support..and for myself and my family we
support your patriotic efforts and find comfort in your eloquent manner and believe
that you will go far as long as you stay faithful to your core beliefs."Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I received this from a new friend in the movement. I think we should spread this around.
"The king of the Goths, who no longer dissembled his appetite for
plunder and revenge, appeared in arms under the walls of the capital;
and the trembling Senate, without any hopes of relief, prepared by a
desperate resistance to delay the ruin of their country. But they
were unable to guard against the secret conspiracy of their slaves
and domestics, who either from birth or interest were attached to the
cause of the enemy." -- Edward Gibbon, "The Decline and Fall of the
Roman Empire."Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
