Texans have to wonder, who’s running this state

Texas’ residency law, described as “any residence, or place, to which one intends to return after any temporary absence,” has paved the way to milk hundreds of future home owners out of millions of dollars. This definition has also come under the watchful eyes of many who see the potential for voter fraud.

As it stands now, anybody can stake out undeveloped land, put up a mailbox and declare they live there, temporarily. This mailbox deserves an address, and an address is all you need to register to vote in the state. Sounds legal doesn’t it? Well, it completely legal, at least for some Texans.

The Texas Watchdog recently reported, developers, no doubt, are paying people to stake out undeveloped areas of the state, establish a utility district, register to vote, officially become the election judge, hold an election, establish a board and even if only one person votes, it’s completely legal.

Under this scheme, developers get to propose and pass millions of dollars of bonds, which are passed on to future residents, who would be clueless upon moving into any developed property. As stated earlier, it’s completely legal, that is, for the developers, but illegal for others trying to end the trickery.

Could you imagine every measure passing with an astonishing landslide victory? Well, that’s what happens and even if this is legal, it’s can come back to haunt the state later on down the line, especially Republicans.

Liberals are some very creative people, and as such, they scheme, even while they’re dreaming. If the challenge to this practice of creating utility districts fails, who, or what could stop illegal immigrants from taking up this same cause, but without the board or bonds, but with the sole purpose of circumventing state and federal laws, in an attempt at gaining representation?

So far, developers are the criminal minded in this residency scheme, but what about those who advocate for illegal immigrant amnesty, seeing this as an avenue to simply, out vote Texans, gained the crooked representation and strip the state of it’s majority population’s vote?

Supposedly, the top Texas attorney is leading this challenge against the residency law and if so,Texans have to wonder, just who in the hell is running this state.
