When Illegals Kill Cops

Rep. Ami Bera, a northern California Democrat, has invited Susan Oliver, 46, to President Obama’s State of the Union Speech. The White House is aware of the invitation, and Mrs. Oliver has a message of her own for the chief executive.

“Build unity between citizens and law enforcement,” she told Richard Chang of the Sacramento Bee. “The damage is tearing people apart.” Activists, she said, try to “excite people who don’t know all the facts” and “people will do negative things just because there’s an opportunity.” Mrs. Oliver, an African American, can speak to the issue with some authority. She can also address another issue the president and his handlers prefer to avoid: the murder of American law enforcement officers by people who are not supposed to be in the country.

Last October, Luis Enriquez Monroy Bracamontes, a Mexican national in the United States illegally, gunned down Susan’s husband Danny Oliver, 47, a Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputy. Bracamontes shot Oliver in the head with a 9mm handgun but the killer and his wife Janelle Marquez Monroy also packed an AR-15 rifle. After killing Danny Oliver, Bracamontes and Monroy shot Anthony Holmes, a motorist who refused to give up his car. Holmes survived the shooting but later Bracamontes killed police detective Michael Davis with the AR-15 and wounded Jeff Davis, a deputy. Bracamontes also fired at Placer County deputies Charles Bardo and Joseph Roseli before being captured and arrested that same day.

At the time Bracamontes was going by the alias “Marquez,” and it emerged that he had used at least five aliases and two Facebook names. He had been arrested multiple times in Arizona on drug and weapons charges. As theSacramento Bee put it, “He was deported to Mexico twice, but managed to return to the United States illegally.” Reports also said Bracamontes had “repeatedly” entered the country illegally.

The illegal faces two counts of murder, five counts of attempted murder, and charges for carjacking, theft and illegal possession of an assault weapon. But Bracamontes, if that is indeed his real name, may have lucked out in the choice of a judge. The shooter landed in the courtroom of judge Helena Gweon, a Schwarzenegger appointee who earned her JD at Harvard Law School and her BA at UC Berkeley. As another case shows, Gweon has also shown the kind of cognitive dissonance not normally found in a courtroom.

As Frontpage noted, in February 2011 near Sacramento, Mexican nationals and Saul Isidro-Aucencio and Francisco Delgado shot and killed Americans Robert Corpos, 20, Richard Ward, 16, and, Jamir Miller, 15. Miller, an African American, was shot in the head from behind with an AK-47.

Local media did not identify the killers as Mexican nationals but Melissa Jellison, Jamir Miller’s mother, discovered their status. In the sentencing hearing Jellison expressed anger that the murderers of her son were in the country illegally. “This case,” Gweon told the grieving mother, “has nothing to with illegal aliens.” That pronouncement had local law enforcement officials shaking their heads.

Last October, after Bracamontes murdered Danny Oliver and Michael Davis, Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones promised Susan Oliver he would call on lawmakers to secure the U.S. border and document the millions of immigrants in this country illegally. In an eight-minute YouTube video, Jones said that the person who killed Danny Oliver “is in this country illegally from Mexico. He has a significant criminal history and on at least four prior occasions he was removed from this country, each time having no consequences for his actions.” The video prompted Kevin Johnson, dean of the UC Davis law school to tell reporters that “the sheriff is supposed to be enforcing the law in California, not telling the president what federal immigration policy should be.”

The president, who had stepped up deportations, subsequently adopted a policy that would let thousands of illegals seek legal status, without taking steps to seal the border that Luis Enriquez Monroy Bracamontes “repeatedly” breached with no difficulty and no consequences. He and his wife are slated to appear before Judge Helena Gweon on February 4.

That's like telling the families who lost loved ones on 9/11 that their cases have nothing to do with terrorists or telling the families of children abused by priests that their cases have nothing to do with pedophiles.

Because they're sociopaths with no conscience. Americans must wise up to the lingo and vote against anyone who believes that economic growth is population growth, that free trade is good for the US economy, and that illegal aliens are just hard workers looking for a better life. These are all lies, they know they're lies, yet like any sociopath, they can get up to the microphone or plop their ass on a talk show and lie with a straight face, because they're sociopaths with no conscience. Sociopathy isn't limited to serial killers, there are many ways to harm other people without committing violence at your own hand. It's an intentional will to harm others to derive the pleasure from doing so. Someone might want to point this out to Joni Ernst who is the latest member of the US Senate band of free trade traitors. And no, I don't care one whit that she's retired from the US military, sociopaths are in all walks of life and careers. It's when they open their mouths in a forum like her response to tonight's State of the Union that they expose themselves.

Let's tear down trade barriers in places like Europe and the Pacific. Let's sell more of what we make and grow in America over there so we can boost manufacturing, wages, and jobs right here, at home. Joni Ernst - Response to SOTU, 2015

Sorry, Joni, time to wake up and smell your own crap, the trade barriers are ours, not theirs, to protect what little bit of manufacturing economy we still have here. If we open up more trade with Europe and Japan on a free trade basis, they will eat US alive, chew US up and spit US out, because they'll sell US more automobiles and computers, while we sell them Post it Notes and potatoes.
