Mulvaney outlines some of the impact on various people and departments.
OMB Director Mick Mulvaney says this government shutdown is not like the last one: "We were asked to vote for something in 2013 that we did not approve of. That is not the circumstance here"
Marc Short expresses the desire of the White House to do something permanent (amnesty) for DACA recipients. He said that democrats objected to many of the immigration requests that the president put forward in September, the seven pages, so they revised the list down to three, dealing with four categories and removing some of the interior enforcement requests.
Mitch McConnell scaled back date to Feb. 8 for CR so that democrats and republicans can work on permanent DACA amnesty.
