White House petition seeks to designate GOP a ‘terrorist organization’

In response to what it termed “economic terrorism,” a White House petition has been created requesting that President Obama “designate the Republican Party a terrorist organization for repeatedly threatening the full faith and credit of the U.S.A.”
The petition was created on Sept. 18, a week before White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer compared House Republicans to suicide bombers and kidnappers.
In an interview on Thursday, while commenting on President Obama’s refusal to compromise with the GOP, Pfeiffer told CNN’s Jake Tapper: “What we’re not for is negotiating with people with a bomb strapped to their chest.”
Pfeiffer’s comment leaves one to wonder if he got his inspiration from the White House petition, or if he and the petitioners are simply kindred souls.
In hopes of making the Obama administration “the most open and participatory in history,” the White House launched “We the People,” a web site that gives Americans a way to create and sign petitions on a range of issues affecting our nation.
In the two years it has been operational, it has provided the American people a steady source of entertainment.
