Who are the real racists?
My husband told me an interesting story today. He has a friend who has a son who is a football star in a local high school. The son is currently looking to be recruited by a major college because of his football talent. He also has a B average in school. Sounds like a good kid eh? Someone any parent would want their daughter to date? But this kid has apparently been turned down by many a girl. Why? Hispanic fathers who won't let their daughters date an African American kid.
If that's not the kettle calling the pot black!
And according to Lulac, you and I are racists too...Illegal aliens remain exempt from American laws, while they DEMAND American rights...

Mexicans are called the "Klan with a Tan"

This is a great discussion. It's a little raw, but very telling. More good discussions on the same site concerning the different points of view in the Black community towards Illegals.
There is a posting of the Mexican postage stamps that caused such a rucus
and much more.http://www.soldiersangels.com Adopt a Soldier

White discrimination in the Americas fear of a Black - Latino united front
Black People in the USA Need to Learn from South America as a group, over the past few years a quiet but loud revolution has been taking place in many South America countries such as Venezuela, Brazil, Peru and now Bolivia. Bolivia just elected with 54 percent of the vote their first indigenous leader Mr. Evo Morales.
The Indigenous people, who make up 70 percent of Bolivia’s population, and their allies, said no – enough discrimination against the indigenous people.
“Three years ago, in 2002, Dr. Chato Peredo, political advisor to Morales said, “U.S. Ambassador to Bolivia Roca, speaking as a colonial governor, warned Bolivian voters not to vote for Evo Morales in the 2002 presidential election. It was won by Carlos De Losada a offspring of the European colonial power.
Now what is the significant of the above you may ask as a African American. Latin America Indigenous and African descent are taking their future in their own hands. The indigenous people of the Americas and the African decent of the Americas we enslaved rapped and killed by same colonial white people of Europe. We do not need to argue who received the worst treatment because the end result was very close destruction.
Katrina was either a wake for African Americans to start thinking independence of their former colonial Europeans or continue to stay the course of waiting for other to change, we shall over come and Jesus will save us mentality.
We African Americans know all the problems that we face racism of all types, lack of medical care, lack of jobs and housing. But what are we gonna do about this problem we face? Are we going to have another C-span town hall meeting hosted by Tavis Smiley and a panel of great talkers with little or no action? Just as the Indigenous and African descent citizens of South America are taking back control of their country so must African Americans of North America.
You may ask we (African Americans) do not control anything and we are only a small percentage of the United States ok. Now lets look at the bigger picture the USA is 50 separated governed and independent mini countries apart of a union. Something that the European Union is trying to do and what the Caribbean and South America in on the verge of doing. In general there is more power together than as one.
African Americans will never accomplish they type of inclusion or reduction of racism in the USA because they don’t have the numbers. But they can on a state (mini country) level with a majority of the population. Even the most liberal white person still don’t want to live around black people so we can use their fear of to many black people to our advantage. It is ironic that black people use their common interest and numbers want to go to black churches, fraternal groups, and associations of all kinds but do we ever consider using our common interest and shear numbers and improve our conditions. The Montgomery boycott was an example where using our common interest and numbers made a change.
We can change things but we need to target one place were we can become the majority. Just as the people of Bolivia, Venezuela and others in South American have done. It is time for African Americans to take their future in their own hands.*****THIS IS NOT APART OF THE POST*****

Excellent post. If the two were to come together many great things could be accomplished.

He lives in LA and knows that the SAs aren't going to ally with Blacks
They think they are better than us and treat Blacks like shyt
They feel they don't need us
Tell him to go and try to ally with 18th street

You Republikkkans are busy trying to keep the two apart, because it would not be in your interests to have them united.

The mexicans don't want to unite with Blacks
They look down on blacks. It is they who create the divisions
You obviously have never been around them for any length of time
Right now the high schools here in LA are in a state of war with the mexicans trying to force black students out of the public schools
Haven't you heard what Vincente Fox has said about blacks?
We are going to have to kick the mexicans out of America
Its as simple as that

Those stamps say it all, don't they?
Those stamps say it all! I have run into lots of anti-Black sentiment among Mexican Nationals. It shows the degree to which things are turned on their heads when people who would use an image like this on their national stamps can call others RACIST for trying to protect their sovereign borders.
