Thread: Who really were the protestors at Garden Grove?

Not who we thought...

When the protestors attacked the Minutemen in Garden Grove, we thought it was the illegal alien lobby and their supporters. True enough, but not the whole story, apparently. Who were the protestors, really? Not just who we thought, but MORE than we thought.

While searching for the "other side" of the story, I saw a telephone number on a number of protest posterson the photos on Heidi's site. I called and got the machine for the LA chapter of "ANSWER Coalition", an anti-war group. Odd. So I Googled the number and found that the same number is apparently used by a variety of left-wing groups such as the Coalition for Equal Marriage Rights Los Angeles and the Party for Socialism and Liberation.

My reason for pointing this out is not an attempt at an ad hominemargument. We can disagree about what to do about illegal immigration just as much as I might disagree with some Minuteman/SOS types who hold racist/protectionist/English-only views on the same subject. However, it is hard to approach a subject expecting a credible public argument when one party of the discussion not only turns violent, but ends up apparently being the sort of people who are out protesting everything but sunshine.

Sorry I missed it earlier....Communists.....they've invaded and now they are here amongst us!!

I can tell you who the jerks are at the Minute Men protests, because I see them at every protest in Berkeley. They're the socialist groups, the communist groups, the racial-agitator groups, the anti-corporations groups, the dumb young white punk kids (so-called "anarchists") who think they're fighting against "racism" and "The Man" by throwing rocks at people. In other words: the usual collection of losers. They're like the old joke: "The politician is the guy who sees the parade going by and jumps in front to lead it." With them its: "They see the riot going by and jump up front to lead the Revolution." Individually, these people's numbers are so small they're insignifigant. So they're always trying to attach their agenda to any cause that happens by. They're mostly ineffectual fools and blowhards. But they can be dangerous. Here in Berkeley they attached themselves to an Affirmative Action rally ("By any means necessary!" is their battlecry) and roused up the rabble to a near riot. THe mob rampaged down Telegraph Avenue smashing windows and setting fires and stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of merchandize from stores.

P.S. Just yesterday I saw a copy of the Socialist Worker, or one of those "radical" type newspapers, and there was a frontpage article denouncing the Minute Men as "racists" and "nazis" and the usual dim-witted bilge. We definitely need to keep an eye on these jokers, because they're weasels and they're looking to rouse people up and to attack. Though mostly they're just cowards and blowhards with their big talk. The kind that are ever-ready to spill somebody else's blood in the name of their cause. And I'm sure they see illegal immigrants as nothing more than cannon fodder to help further their agenda.

There is the possibility that this was their plan all along. Get the masses riled up as a distraction, then go on a discount shopping spree.

Regarding the protesters at Minute Men rallies: Basically, you're going to get every blowhard with an axe to grind against "white Males" (who, of course are the root of all evil and to blame for all of the world's ills) (which I guess is why billions of people are desparate to come and live in a country that was basically created by white Males) (and ha ha).

So be prepared to hear the usual accusations of "racism" and "sexism." The irony, of course, is that, according to recent polls, women and blacks are the segment of the American population with the strongest anti- illegal immigration feelings. Be sure to mention that fact to these heroic protesters, see if it penetrates through the dusty cobwebs of their alleged brains. The irony of course, is that these so-called "anti-racists" are invariably the BIGGEST racists of them all. The end.

Exactly.

They've been trolling at my site, and there's simply no point in having a reasoned debate with them. They can't stop themselves from wearing out all the old cliche slurs: nazi, racist, hate-monger, mean-spirited (!), selfish, yada yada. They've so overused and misused those words that they simply have no meaning anymore! It's like water off a duck's back. *pfffft* Nothing.
