I researched this homeless problem in US a couple of months ago, and there's 3.5 million Americans in the US who have no place to sleep every night because they're homeless. And no one cares. There are shelters and different types of facilities out there for some, but not enough, these 3.5 million are outside the facilities on the sidewalks or under bridges or in parks or vacant land or any spot they can find. It's like they're invisible in plain sight.
The most visible homeless population in America today seems to be in California which is the American state most impacted by the unprecedented waves of illegal immigration into the USA over the last decade.
