"..Will do everything in our POWER.."

    http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercuryn ... 428668.htm

The frenzy of false information, fueled by talk shows on Spanish-language radio and television news, hit the Hispanic community a week before a nationwide boycott to protest renewed talks on a failed immigration reform bill.

"If it's being done to put the fear of God in people, it's working," said Jerry Oquendo, Bay Area chapter president of the League of United Latin American Citizens, or LULAC. "We're going to tell our people not to be intimidated and to come out and rally (May 1). We'll do everything in our power to protect them."
Sure! Come on out anyway on May 1st. We'll do everything in our power to deport you!!

If propaganda works to put the fear of god in the illegals, maybe we should start rumors of ICE raids in every city, town, and community. Maybe it would start a stampede of illegals heading to our south border!!!Would it work?

Pays to be cautious NEVER to impersonate any officer of the law or of any government agency, for the repercussions of impersonation are absolutely dire. However...

There is nothing wrong with a little civil disobedience when it comes to fighting a system which seems to think lawbreakers are saints. You can put little notices up at various contruction worksites in your portion of the state which is in both English and Spanish alerting workers and employers to the fact that the worksite is 'being monitored' and also providing the phone numbers to your nearest ICE office with a message saying all illegal personnel and employers will be turned in "once verification of this worksite's workers have been analyzed".

Don't just do it to scare them. Though it WILL work and might keep the illegal ones HOME... if you really do work hard at doing the stake-outs and "get to know" who is usually there, you will know which ones are the illegals!! They will generally stay home for a few days after such a notice. Then when they start to slowly return to work one by one, tail them on the way home. Get their license plate numbers, their street addresses and the EMPLOYERS street address and report them to DHS/ICE due to suspicious activity, possible money laundering and possible harboring of illegal aliens.

This set in motion (hopefully) an investigation into the size of the company and how many workers are reported to be working for that company. You could literally one day unknowingly be the one to pass on information which leads to the next major series of raids!

This is the plan of action I follow myself, and so far I've gotten several worksites rattled and many workers stopped showing up. Can't imagine what would frighten them so horribly, do you?

There's no law against wearing a hat that says ICE on it. Wear one of those hats (which can be found online), along with a walkie talkie to a local flea market and watch the fun begin.

    Sailor,

I think that is what is happening in Austin. There is an article just posted from Austin called, Fear keeps immigrants from work. One guy said, I looked around and I don't know why they all ran. This is where you need Mexican Americans that speak Spanish. They can walk into a store and say, that's an Immigration agent over there. Then they can sit back and watch it happen. Also, imagine if a White person walked into someplace, with sun glasses on and started asking questions in Spanish. Hahahaha They would assume it is Immigration and haul tail. Let them continue to scare themselves. If you hear someone speaking in Spanish, look at them. The glare alone will disturb them.

How do you say Boo! in Spanish?
