YOU Care, President Bush Could Care Less!
:D Hi You Guys!
Did I miss you all! When I left for the north Georgia mountains, I wondered if being away from Alipac and my area of the country, if I would possibly lose some interest in my desire to fight against our open borders. I knew that I would not know the answer to that until I returned.
I cannot believe how much the border situation and illegal aliens in America became such a huge part of my trip! I have so much to tell you, but tonight since I just came back, I would like to share a particular event which occurred. Then tomorrow, I will have to read everything in Alipac and bring myself up to speed on the news. I will say this, I may have gotten behind on the news....but I am more enlightened than ever from actual experiences which I had on this trip as to how RAMPANT and SERIOUS the illegal immigration situation is in our country.
Last night in a Southern Georgia Holiday Inn, four different families who were sitting by the pool watching their kids swim, happened to meet each other. It happened because one of them overheard a conversation about the bombings in Egypt, and didn't know much about what had happened. Somehow these four adults got drawn into a conversation about terrorism , two from Georgia, one from Florida (me)
and one from Ohio.
Within a couple of minutes, the conversation switched to George Bush. Each of us said that we had voted for him, and each of us said we were very disappointed in his job performance. (Can you imagine, I couldn't believe how this conversation was going...since I'm so interested in all of this! What was so incredible is that I was mostly listening rather than saying much because I was so shocked at how all of these people from different places were echoing each others concerns).
Anyway, all of them said they were having BIG problems at home as a result of illegals in their towns and cities. I had to pinch myself to believe this was taking place like this. (As I said, I'm mostly listening at this point!)
Well, while we were all talking two of us were facing the hotel lobby area.
The other two had their backs to the lobby and were facing us. Through the glass I see about ten people who appeared to be from Mexico, perhaps other places in Central America as well. I'm watching them in the background (remember we're in a southern Georgia town, not LA, not San Antonio, etc.), while I'm listening to these people talk about how people in their towns are losing jobs due to illegal aliens. I'm responding to what they are saying with, "wow", "that's unbelievable" ...all the while I'm looking into the hotel lobby area where meeting rooms are rented out.
All of a sudden, ten more of these people who appear to be of Mexican or Central American heritage gather, and then ten more, and my eyes are getting wider and wider, and the person next to me now sees it too, and her mouth is dropping and ten more appear, and ten more, and finally the other two people say..."What is it?!!! What are you two looking at !??" They turn around and see...there are now close to 100 people just pouring out of this meeting room into the lobby!!!! It was OBVIOUS....NOT ONE AMERICAN. I would venture to say the number could have been in the range of 150 people.
One of the people couldn't hold back and went to the front desk and asked in a very friendly but curious manner, "Is there some kind of a
Mexican Party going on here tonight?" The person at the front desk said, she didn't know what the meetings were about, but they are held at the hotel, and it seemed only Hispanic people attended them.
Many of these people were dressed, I guess you would say like migrant workers, and mingled among them were EXTREMELY well dressed men (a few women) in business atire. What the heck it was about I don't know. I got the impression it was like a hiring situation or something. One things for sure.....NO AMERICANS ALLOWED!! There were only about five or ten dressed in the business attire.
It was wild. It was strange. It seemed as though it had something to do with the illegal immigration. I say that, because it was very odd, how there were these "leaders" or something and then people dressed as though they had been doing physical labor work.
Anyway, the entire thing was just so odd....as the four of us (American strangers from different U.S. towns and cities), had met and without purposefully meaning to discuss illegal immigration problems in America...and then right before our very eyes...something so obviously strange like that.
It certaintly didn't look like an assimilation to America meeting. You'd think one might see a scattering of Americans if it was.
Just to clarify to anyone who might like to think that it is racial for me to even question this occurance, I'd like to say, that yes....perhaps it was a meeting for A WHOLE BUNCH of Hispanic people who want to plan an Hispanic parade or special event for legal Hispanic immigrants....I would like to think it was something of that nature....but please, as an American Citizen who knows that over 4,000 illegal aliens are entering this country on a daily basis....I think it is only right and prudent to at least wonder what was going on there.
It is mostly the irony of the fact that this unplanned, spontaneous discussion was taking place regarding our concern about what is happening to America regarding illegal immigration.....and then this scenario to occur....it's just too suspicious and strange.
If nothing else, it is an example of how George Bush's ILLEGAL "good people just coming to put food on the table" harm legal immigrants to America, because we now rightly assume that a huge number of Hispanic people are in America ILLEGALLY.
Well, please keep in mind, that recently when Minutemen Patrol meetings were taking place, they were forced to leave their meeting place. It is also because of that, that I question what was going on here.
I'm so glad to be back guys. I see that something President Bush likes to say IS TRUE...."You can run but you can't hide". I agree with him because when it comes to illegal aliens it is now ALL ACROSS AMERICA. By the way, the other three concerned American citizens will be coming to the ALIPAC website when they return home. Three more Alipac members
just because we happened to meet and happened to be experiencing the same problems regarding illegal immigration in our different U.S. towns.
I still can't believe how that happened. I would sincerely like to know what was going on. Were the leaders bankers giving home loans to illegals? Were they being given fake social security numbers? Illegal jobs? And to think President Bush obviously could care less. Funny how American Citizens care but he doesn't. I'd say this President is EXTREMELY out of touch with the people he is SUPPOSE to represent. This is a SAD situation for our country to be in.
Pls. excuse my spelling errors tonight. I spent the day fighting to keep us alive on Florida's highways. By the way, Georgia's highways were very safe. Tons of Georgia State Troopers all over. In Florida I only saw ONE, from the top of the state to the bottom. I wonder whose fault that could be? I think you know.
