Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is calling off the 'Underwear Against Amnesty' protest campaign where Americans were being asked to mail their gently used, yet clean, undergarments to illegal immigrants care of Barack Obama and John Boehner. Shortly after the protest became an Internet and media sensation last week, Boehner folded and told Obama the US House would not take up immigration reform amnesty in 2014!

Numerous talk radio shows and media outlets like Breitbart, CBS DC, and Drudge Report fairly reported about the underwear protest, pro immigration reform amnesty publications like Raw Story and Talking Points Memo instead decried and mischaracterized the protest. Talking Points Memo also lied to readers claiming that Gheen and ALIPAC were calling for people to break the law by mailing soiled undergarments. This lie was picked up by the Spanish media leading to a surge of angry emails to ALIPAC from illegal alien supporters in other nations.

"While we are very happy to see our efforts have helped to stop legislative immigration reform amnesty for 2014 we cannot rest," said William Gheen President of ALIPAC. "We still have illegals surging across our borders and Obama is going to do all he can to help the illegals enter and stay. We must unite as Americans of all races and walks of life to stop Obama's abuses of power and our constitution and laws now."

The fact thousands of Americans were mailing their underwear to Obama and Boehner appears to have had quite an impact on the lawmakers since John Boehner has responded by taking immigration reform amnesty legislation off the table for 2014 and Obama is responding by announcing more resources to go into border security immediately.

ALIPAC is now asking all Americans to focus their efforts on throwing more Eric Cantor types of Republicans out of Congress in the GOP Primaries of August 5-7, 2014 and then throwing immigration reform amnesty supporting Democrats out of office in the November elections!

There will also be a coalition of groups leading a nationwide protest against immigration reform amnesty and the border surge held outside of Mexican consulates nationwide on July 18-19!
