MCALLEN, Texas – Federal authorities have seized a private airplane full of illegal immigrants. The aircraft was being used in an attempt to smuggle seven illegal immigrants from the Texas border into the interior U.S. to avoid immigration checkpoints.

The arrests of the seven illegal immigrants and seizure of the airplane took place on Sunday morning following a routine inspection at the McAllen Miller International airport, information released by the Air and Marine branch of U.S. Customs and Border Protection revealed.

It was during that inspection that authorities found the illegal immigrants hiding inside a Beech King Air E90 aircraft. The airplane’s pilot, a United States citizen, was released as the investigation continues.

Human smugglers using airplanes to fly illegal aliens out of border cities is not an uncommon practice. A similar situation took place in the border city of Harlingen last year, as Breitbart Texas previously reported.

In that situation, the pilot of a small Mexican airplane, an alleged accomplice, and four illegal immigrants prepared to fly out to San Marcos. That city is located north of the U.S. Border Patrol checkpoints along the main highways leaving the Rio Grande Valley.

Carolos Franco Montoya and Hever Marin Castillo both pleaded guilty in that case to the charge and have since been sentenced to prison. Montoya, the pilot, was sentenced to 18 months in prison. Marin, his accomplice, was sentenced to 13 months in prison. Both face deportation after completing their sentences.

The illegal immigrants in that case had each paid, or were to pay, $14,000 to go from Mexico to Houston.

In 2013, U.S. border patrol agents carried out a similar arrest at the McAllen airport. They arrested five illegal immigrants who were preparing to climb into a chartered plane to fly. The plan was to fly them from the Rio Grande Valley to San Antonio.

Really? How many Americans have $14,000 cash stashed away to pay some dude to fly them to another country? These are not "poor" illegal aliens. These are illegal aliens working for foreign drug cartels. This is where they all get their money to pay these smugglers to come in here and then they sign up for welfare, 87% of them pay this kind of money to sneak in here and then sign up for welfare.

All these people like Ben Carson and all the other amnesty supporters are stupid, as stupid as stupid gets. We're done with stupid. We want smart, we want street smart, we want deal smart, we want tough, smart people who count in their heads, we want .......

    145,000 Millionaires in Mexico

NUMBER OF MULTI-MILLIONAIRES IN MEXICO FAR EXCEEDS GLOBAL AVERAGE

    Jun 20, 2015

According to a report from WealthInsight there were 145,000 millionaires in Mexico by the end of 2013.

Together, these high net worth individuals hold a fortune of at least US$736 billion, which equates to 43% of Mexico's total individual wealth. Those numbers have continued in a northern direction over the last few years fueling the burgeoning MIST countries, enabling them to surpass their BRIC counterparts of growing developed nations.

Execution of Oil plan to support growth

Pemex, the second largest state oil company in the world, opened up to the private sector incubating the next major driver for growth in individual wealth. WealthInsight predicts that by 2017, the number of millionaires in Mexico will grow by 47% to reach over 213,000 millionaires and 3,733 multi-millionaires. According to WealthInsight analyst, Ouliana Vlasova, if the project is proven successful, this development will give private investors unparalleled access to a major producer of oil. "Mexico provides opportunities for both domestic and foreign investors and is anticipated to witness strong growth in number of High Net Worth Individuals and their wealth".

    Growth in multi-millionaires and billionaires

There are 2,540 multi-millionaires in Mexico with individual net assets of US$30 million or more. Of this total 252 are centimillionaires and 2,272 affluent millionaires. Multi-millionaires account for 1.75% of the total millionaire population of Mexico, which is well above the global average of 0.7%. Together these ultra high net worth individuals are worth US$364 billion in total combined wealth. By 2017 the total wealth of multi-millionaires is projected to increase by 44% to reach US$525 billion.

As of 2013 there were 16 billionaires in Mexico. Towards 2017, WealthInsight predicts the number will reach 21 individuals. The total wealth of Mexican billionaires is expected to grow by 26% to reach US$241 billion by the end of 2017.

Large gap between rich and poor

Mexico has a large gap between rich and poor. Together the Mexican multi-millionaires hold 43% of the total individual wealth in Mexico. This number is well above the worldwide average of 29%, indicating a relatively uneven distribution of wealth in the country. Mexico City is the most popular city for multi-millionaires. According to WealthInsight, 43% (1,088 individuals) of Mexico's multi-millionaires are living in the capital

Manufacturing continues to be the most important industry for multi-millionaires

Manufacturing is the most important industry for multi-millionaires in Mexico, with 17.4% of them having this as their primary source for wealth. 70% of Mexican exports are driven by manufacturing followed by fuel and mining (15%). The US is Mexico's main export partner and its economy is starting to see the maturing of green shoots with unemployment at the lowest level in decades and the number of permits being pulled for the construction of new real estate projects has surpassed the 2007 levels. Thus, the Mexican manufacturing engine should be running strong fueling internal economic growth.
