PHOENIX -- A record number of illegal immigrants were deported from Arizona during 2010, according to a U.S. Department of Homeland Security spokesperson.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials deported 92,592 illegal immigrants during between October 2009 and September 2010, according to statistics provided to CBS 5 by ICE spokeswoman Lori Haley.

The U.S. also broke a record for the deportation of illegal immigrants, removing 392,862 illegal immigrants during 2010.

Haley credits closer cooperation between federal officers and local law enforcement officers.

Though he's come under fire for his illegal immigration enforcement tactics, Sheriff Joe Arpaio told CBS 5 he plans to increase his efforts to crack down on illegal immigration in 2011.

"In 2011, I will increase my crime suppression, I will increase our employer operations and I will increase our human smuggling operations," said Arpaio.

So if a million or so snuck in during the same time frame we only gained about 600.000 or so?

(But then how many of that 395,000 were back at the donut shop before the officers were)?

Add the high anchor birth rate and I think that number we gained gets really high?
Illegal, or unlawful, is used to describe something that is prohibited or not authorized by law

    NO AMNESTY

Don't reward the criminal actions of millions of illegal aliens by giving them citizenship.
